I really like this song but I do question its use as the final power challenge. They should have somehow integrated Final Countdown as the final power challenge, makes a lot more sense.
Also Prism's Armageddon would have been appropriate and a cool final track *if they could get it)

Because your score probably wasn't high enough. Score determines gold stars, NOT percent.

I love how the titles of the songs kind of go together with the events of the story. It's a very clever ploy; I might get this game just for the amusing story.
