"Amazing Grace" is referring to, albeit indirectly, to people not deserving, not earning a place in heaven. That Jesus did not deserve to be tortured and crucified for other people's sin-crimes. The "Passion of the Christ" was an unjust, undeserved torture of an innocent virgin.
"Grace" is an undeserved and unearned gift...with many strings attached, like the obligation to surrender your will to his will or you'll be sent to be tortured, just like an African slave in America, circa 1843.

Praise God! Jesus is still powerful to change lives if we just trust him. We try so hard to do life on our own, but we fail miserably. Without Jesus I'd be such a mess. I was a liar, and a thief. I used to lie to my parents, and steal from them and from even my job i had stolen, (my old job).I thank the Lord for His law and realizing who He is through His law. So it's the Law that educated me that I was on my way to hell. So I knew this and truly did cry out to the Lord for about 30 minutes or maybe close to an hour, and He saved me from His wrath, just it say's in 1 thess 1:8 through His sacrifice at the cross in Jesus.

As for @ssbrwl, you are right, they should be welcomed into the church, BUT their sin shouldn't be accepted. They are human sinners just like everyone else, but their sin is clearly seen in scripture as an offense to God. So should people who practice homosexuality be allowed in church? You bet! Should any sin on their or our behalf be accepted? No.

I was a liar, and a thief. I used to lie to my parents, and steal from them and from even my job i had stolen, (my old job).I thank the Lord for His law and realizing who He is through His law. So it's the Law that educated me that I was on my way to hell. So I knew this and truly did cry out to the Lord for about 30 minutes or maybe close to an hour, and He saved me from His wrath, just it say's in 1 thess 1:8 through His sacrifice at the cross in Jesus.

Jesus came along and taught us that God is Love and does NOT judge people, for he himself judged nobody. Yet Christians continue to teach a system of sin, judgement, and eternal punishment, to control people and keep them in fear. Christianity has lost it's way and does not reflect the nature of God. I know that Biblicaly it would mean to give up your will, your plans, your future, and everything else in order to live a life that is dead to the sin in this world and a life that glorifies the God who created you. Every time I come on these videos I see hundreds of comments of people claiming God is so great and does so much for everyone. This video is pathetic! People are upset because they have economic and relationship troubles! Then when these petty problems are fixed, they claim God did it! There are bigger issues! SUCH AS WOLRD HUNGER AND SUFFERING. NONE of these have been "saved." I am sick of all this selfishness. Why would God help YOU through a relationship when he won't even feed a CHILD?

@PppPlyr1 One way to know if a tree is good, is to see if the fruit is good. Surely a good tree does not produce bad fruit? and a bad tree produce good fruit? If belief in Christ leads to lifes being changed for the better, then surely Christ cant be bad?

How many men, women, children has he killed and tortured compared to your god? Did he order the dashing of infants or was that your god who did that?

The Bible, if you would/could read it, that you probably didn't know, says that God wants the best for us. If a person gets ill and doesnt want to be cured and saved, you have to let go of that person, otherwise it will infect and kill other people. God hates sins. If people (like in the Old Testament) love sinning, God has no choice but to leave them to their ways of doom. He tried to save them. If you can prove me contrary, do.

Maybe you should read your own bible (without your rose covered glasses). God hates "sin" except that this god doesn't play by it's own rules. The "sins" of man are child's play compared to the atrocities of god...unless you think dashing infants, slitting pregnant bellies,torture, slavery, rape, genocide, infanticide, etc, are righteous and just.
The biblical god is fiction created to manipulate you. But if this monster did exist it would deserve only our strongest condemnation, not worship.

I don't wear glasses. If you knew, but you obviusly don't cuz you didnt read the bible and/or didnt understand it, is that we can't step in front of God without being doomed, if we don't accept his grace. The bible says we are born as Shadows, we are evil from the very beginning and for that the only thing we deserve is death. That may sound hars, but its true. God never allowed rape, torture or adultery, its you who is altering the facts, and you only want us to see your hard work. Dream on.

When god orders the Israelites to massacre numbers of tribes, considerable detail outlining some pretty sick and twisted stuff includes killing children, dashing infants. slitting pregnant bellies and yes even rape. It's all there and it's all commanded by god. All of us (including you) are morally better than the sick tyrant portrayed in the OT.

Aside from serious moral objections with Christianity, I am an atheist meaning I do not hold religious belief, especially one drawn from ancient middle east civilizations ruled by fear and superstition.
I don't believe Jesus (if he ever existed) was the son of any god. I don't believe in any god. Yahweh is just one of thousands of gods invented by mankind.
We are not immortal and there is no evidence of an afterlife. When we die we go back to the same state of existence as before we were born.

Given vast stretches of time and the right conditions, shit happens naturally--and it doesn't require a mind without a brain. For all the evidence you can handle including thousands of "missing links" for most species including the humans, go to talkorigins(dot)org.
There is mountains of evidence for evolution backed up by thousands of peer review studies. This evidence is used daily in tens of thousands of practical applications. Denying evolution at this point is like denying gravity.

I heard from a pantheologist that worked his entire life with fossils and Bones of all sort, but he said that the scientifical brains had searched all over the world but didn't find the missing link of the humans, because, all they did find (it was analyzed) were bones of Man an a common chimp. As for other fossils... for the dino-bird Archaeopteryx he asked some clear minded scientists and they told him that the fossil resembled a bird, in its time. Probably extinct.

Stop listening to false propaganda from questionable sources and study the subject. Talkorigins(dot)org lists large numbers of existing transitional forms. Early primates were low in population so fossilized remains are scarce as they are for any creature of such rarity. Nonetheless, DNA, fragments and fossil imprints DO exist for them. Just study the subject. Tens of thousands peer reviewed papers attest to this.

Not just my sources but virtually 100% of the scientific community. Allaboutcreation is a religious organization who's theories are not grounded in science but on faith in a 2000 year old book of mythology. They have is no peer reviewed studies, no objectivity, they do not contest or challenge their own theories. They are a fringe group with a religious agenda which they do not question and they are a mockery of the scientific method.

I think your problem is that you "think" you've found some fault with God, and you can't face the fact that he is absolutely perfect in everything he does and he is faultless. You hate him because his perfection illuminates your sin, and you will do anything in your reach to ease your guilt and justify your sin. God is blameless, but you refuse to throw the illusionary "faults" you supposedly found in God and actually try and understand maybe why their is evil in this world without blaming him.

By focusing on anti-theism you've forgotten I'm an atheist too. What you believe isn't "god" but a bunch of primitive scripts written in a time and place gripped by profound fear and superstition--and used to seize control and submission from the ignorant masses.
I cannot "hate" a god that doesn't exist. What I consider evil is the Christian belief system itself---that it deludes you into seeing fabrication as fact and glorifying biblical atrocities as "absolutely perfect" and "faultless".

And for the record The Word of God wasn't written by men in high authority but by very humble men who were beaten, scourged, skinned, and burned to death because what they believed in was so radically different from the political agenda of the kings. As for atrocities in the Bible, the only atrocious thing in the Bible is humans lol!! We deserve Hell. If you hate the Christian belief system you hate the God who created it.
