I just read the story behind this, what an beautiful house your grandaddy built, the photo looking down the staircase is incredible! It makes me want to go there :)

thanks rach! it looks a little worn down now compared to when they lived there. i think it might just be used now as a summer home or something like that.... that was kind of a scary staircase but it was such steep hill i guess he didn't have a choice. we spent many afternoons on that dock! it was a special place.
