They are much more deserving of respect for how many amazing songs that they had released, but I just have more of an 80's taste of music and, despite how much I love the music style of the 70's, I'd still pick the 80's first.

It's just an opinion though, and I believe that you did come up with a good point. However, my opinion still stands.
