You missed on abvious clue. probably the most obvious, when he closes in on his face,... the camera would be closing in on the lens if it were looking into a mirror, not his face with the camera off to the side.

Omg! This video sucks ;D There is a mirror i think! The thumbs and shoes don't sync because there are 2 separate shots! You can't repeat your moves when shooting the second time :P

@dnkbmc Explain the S and the filming actors reflection on the phone... And it's easy to repeat the moves if you shoot more than once.. You just has to reshoot until you get it right..

if you look at the shiny pig in the beginning, the lens is on the left in the reflection, but when you look at it in the "mirror" the lens is on the other side. Oh yeah, and the camera in the "mirror" isn't real.

I'm sorry, but the mirror's girl's socks are the same color. You can see it when she comes back from the kitchen 0:37, above the guys' thumbs when they touch hand 0:48 and over the couch 0:50.

But still, there are a lot of other stuff (letters on the wall, maybe paintings..), but the question is about taking the phone out, and giving it back (from the guy's hands).

no not true because when you are not filming the mirror with a straigt angle it isn't in the middle (try it yourself :)) (you can see that the "mirrored" camera is slighly tilted to the left) but yea its stil fake :P

Yupe the Colour sequence of the Posters at 1:17 are quite different that it could be easily spotted. Even though so, JoinTheMadVender still doesn't seems the difference... he replied me in other video saying them were exactly the same too, I understand how u feel WIG23. =)

I'm not going to discuss this anymore. I've clearly illustrated my point in my latest video. You can wait until it shows up here as a response, or you can watch it on my channel page. I'm prepared to argue about the position of the paper (in fact, I'm pretty sure the rolls aren't positioned exactly), but there is hardly any discussion about the pattern on the rolls. It is the same.

If you check out the real, full version of this "Camera Trick Challenge" and go 1min. 17 seconds into it, you will see that the paper does not match.

Have you actually started at the top of both rolls and just compared stripe by stripe the approximate colour and width of the stripes? Don't let the perspective or the shadow trick you.

Haha....absolutely! You don't have to look too far. Start at the bottom the roll leaning against the "mirror" goes: Yellow, purple, pink. The roll on the other side is: green, pink yellow.

And it goes on...seriously. They're not even close.

There is actually a reason that I asked if you had compared them starting from the top. I'm not stupid. The tops are touching, by the time you're at the edge of the frame, the rolls are at least 20cm apart from each other and the perspective is misleading you. I'll upload a video response in a sec. i suspect the reason it seems to me and others that they don't match is because of the angel. it appears to me that the paper on the "right" side of the "mirror" is in a steeper angel than the other one, hence creating a visual illusion they don't match

No, they really do match up. The difference is in the perspective because the roll is angled. That and the shadows making colours appear different.

Classic magic trick i say. If what they say is true, that its just a glass pane into another room, then in that split sec that he swiped his hand, the double could have slipped it in his sleeve. Must point out tho, that was the first idea that popped into my head, so I won't be surprised if its wrong

you forgot to point out that the "mirrored" text was backwards. On the camera box the "G" in Samsung is next to the lens. Not the case in the "mirror"

one other thing that clearly gave it away that the mirror was fake... was that he the guy turned to the left a full half second before the camera actually move in the video.. @ 1:00 on the original vid and his words were "here's the weird thing" lol great trick still

you missed the one with the white box at the bottom of the mirror. on the left side, there is wrapping paper that is reflected properly, and on the right side, there is a white box that doesnt exist in the "real side of the mirror"
