I was fishing in 10 ft of water but they can work in deeper water too. Clear water is the best but if its a little dirty they still work, just cant' see as far.

yea in fact, ive found that when i fish for bass, if i have a panfish or catfish on, it will kinda nibble at the bait's tail before swallowing, but a bass will just inhale the thing

You should put a swivle on with about a foot and a half of line and tie the jig to that so the swivle spins and not your presentation

my aqua view just broke..:(. Turned it on and saw 3 lines. Hooked it up to the charger and saw the picture. figured it was the battery. got a new one. now it doesn't work at all, with the new or old battery. No power at all. anyone know off the bat the problem?? reply if u do.. thanx. Sweet video!

I did have a bad battery for my aqua-vu camera, but I think it got bad from the charger because it started to smell like burning plastic and I went to look at the charge and the plastic was bulging out and it was way overheated. The battery was making a weird noise too. I just bought a new one and it works fine. Make sure the the battery cords are on the right clips because that could cause problems. New batteries should be charged for the first time for longer the time is in the manuel.

Sometimes we would bounce the camera on the lake bottom and debris would kick up and fish would zoom in to the site to check for what I think would be lake insects. Well we used the cameras for the first time in 2007. It lets us see the fish react to our baits. Really helps to ice more fish, wonderful tool! Keep your feet warm and a tight line!
