@steveshowse will do having a couple of weeks off played too much resting the hands , playing a bit of slide ... faking it. , No worries and thanks on the offer for "cheat sheet" keep playing luv it.
Really nice job here. It's really interesting hearing this on a 6 string. Bromberg played this at mach 2 on a 12 string on his album "My Own House", which was a terrific album altogether. Damn the furniture man!
Nice version, thanks for sharing. Cocaine was originally developed as a wonder drug in the mid 1800's to cure many of ailments and it wasn't until about 1916 that is was banned due to addiction. How many ailments it cured who knows probably users didn't care as they high as a kite, Rev Gary Davis has a version that he learnt from a guitarist travelling with a vaudeville in about 1905
lol Funny, I was just listening to Bromberg's version of that this morning, there's a couple extra verses in the one your doing, I loved it. I used to play Brombergs version back in the 70's, and i remember it took me a little while to figure it out! I always like the verse "If there ever was a devil without any horns, it musta been a furniturs man" It still make me laugh when I hear it! Peace, my man!
Congrats Steve =)

good voice and picking, go for funny, humor lyrics, stay away from sad songs. Sounds good.

I love that song. I was inspired to learn fingerpicking the first time I heard David Bromberg play it. Your version is superb.

I was not familiar with that version, almost the same, but deceptively different from lukes. Pretty cool man, thanks for the tip.

Sounds great, bro! Why don't you ever show the headstock? Is that a Guld? What kind of mic are using? A condenser, or is that just a video camera?
