It's most likely a certain person of the female persuasion who just so happens to be a clinical psychologist that has most likely had the sobering effect on Matt... I mean come on ... someone like Matt ( pure genius and other-wordly ) and a psychologist? ... In my opinion those two kinds of people are the opposite and contradictory to each other... anyways, that's my opinion...

my uncles 40, and hes in a chillies tribute band, hes ran through his drums and started crowd surfing not too long ago.....just because matt isnt 21 anymore doesnt mean he cant be crazy

There's always exceptions, but age is major factor in likelyhood to do crazy things in my oppinion. Look at the Chili Peppers, Blink 182 and so on, they all mature with age. Also Muse don't want to be the this band that is all about noise and rock and throwing things around. They liked that direction once but now they're looking in other directions.
