  • i got it today and when i used it it was super runny, i thought it was too thin. had to build it up on my face to get it to look not so watery. its a pretty buildable to full coverage and once it sets its pretty nice on the skin, no streak lines and blends well into the skin. i like it but its not something im gonna run out to get everytime i need foundation.

  • You look so shiny its not a good look.

  • you looks so shiny in this vid!!

  • what is the BASE??

  • $7-$9?! In Australia it's about $30:(

  • I was wondering does this have like sparkilies in it because, I swatched some and in the car and noticed it was sparkly but didn't know if it was the foundation or something else!

  • @shannon13lol5705 Lucky The whole thing came out on my first use -.-

  • we have a pump in sweden :)

  • In Finland it has a pump

  • in Europe, where i live, the true match comes in a 30ml bottle with a pump. do you want me to send you one ?

  • i love how u do reviewss, because i hate goin to the stores and i dont know why one suits me. thanksss

  • @PrettyLaura09 me tooooo

  • Where I live does it cost 20 dollars.. :/

  • does it last all day

  • If you're an NC, doesn't that mean you you have cool undertones?

  • @albymontero92 mac used NC/NW to cancel out to neutral.. so if your warm toned they give you a cool tone to balance out :) (or at least thats what ive been told!) x

  • sooooo if you're warm toned, do you have a yellow or pink undertone???

  • @destenee3334 Warm = Yellow -- Cool = Pink -- Neutral = Not more Pink or Yellow

  • there is one with the pump in most drugstores :)

  • UK has the pump and a nicer bottle:)

  • In the Uk the packaging has a pump, I just bought it today

  • @shannon13lol5705 everything in the UK is better :(

  • this broke me out :(

  • hi love.. just wondering...have u tried any revlon foundation or rimmel?if u hav... could u do a review on any of em... ? thanks switheart..

  • Thank youu!

  • Is this for guys too?

  • @MrCSSlover Makeup is for everyone regardless of gender :3

  • What I do, I just pour the foundation in the cap/lip, as much as I think I will need, if I need more, I just pour more into the cap, if I have to much, I pour it from the cap back to the bottle. I use my brush to "dip it", it works great!

  • how do you know if you have pink or yellow undertones??

  • @hindustanrocks Hold a gold cloth next to your face, then hold a silver cloth next to your face. If gold/yellow flatters you then you are yellow undertone (warm). If silver flatters you most then you are pink undertone (cool). And if both look good, your neutral. Also just look at your skin, does it have a more yellow color or pink/orange color to it? Most asian, arab, and hispanic girls are yellow/warm undertones.

  • Netherlands gets a pump. :)

  • Instead of pouring the foundation out on the top of your hand just open it up and then stick the small flat part of the sponge on top of the opening and shake the bottle, you'll get a nice pea size amount on your sponge, and it doesn't get everywhere! ^^

  • We got the pump in Norway, love it.

  • i'm live in uk and this foundation has a pump!

  • Have you used the powder or compact makeup conterparts to the liquid foundation?

  • This foundation sells for over $30 in Australia! And our dollar is doing better than the American one at the moment.

  • I just got this foundation today... but my bottle is much better why are they different? :S

  • I don't know why but I'm the same shade and you look kinda darker than me lol XD

  • Conceal that thing on your nose its annoying

  • its 30 dollars here in Singapore. and we don't have those 3 sections you were talking about, super limited shades . urgh sucks huh ! :/

  • @LILYnumber1 i can't find the shade W4 in singapore! >___<

  • @sdovwvn Hmm, trust me . In singapore, we really really don't have a wide range at all. You agree? You from sg too ? Hello ! :D

  • NC in mac is fer cool tones...NW is fer warm skin tones. Whoever says that nc means not cool, all i have to say is u have NO idea what ur talking about and should make sure u know before u give girls the wrong info...

  • I just bought this but my skin gets reaallllllyyy oily after about an hour and it looks soo shiny wat should I do because I didn't find a cheap waterproof foundation at target but I want to wear it to school and I don't want to have like foundation all over my face by the end of the day!!!!!

  • The new packaging has a pump! :)

    In Australia we do :)

  • @Ifonlyicouldsing1 lol no, but if u hug someone that's taller than you, your face usually presses against their shirt or on their shoulder unless its like an awkward hug and ur standing like a foot away from the person lol

  • does it transfer easily?? like if i was gonna hug someone.

  • @makeupbyaliii you hug someone with your face? lol

  • is it safe to assume that if im asian (im pretty fair) i have yellow undertones? i just honestly do not get how to tell!! i bought the N2 and it is more orangey on me... thanks!!

  • @beautyl0vin you should have went with the W2

  • @CandyAndromeda ooh okay thanks so much!

  • @beautyl0vin you're welcome :D

  • Here in Israel we have a pump:-)

  • te he te uk one has a pump

  • i got this foundation because of kandee johnson too ! yeah id say the bad thing is no pump and a little too runny. i just apply it with my hands and i dont use it like really often. this foundation dries matte on me.

  • You really need to be careful with this product if you have combination skin. It's a known fact that this makeup will make you break out BAD. If you have acne prone skin, this is NOT for you.

  • I bought a cheap foundation with a pump, then whenever I buy a foundation with no pump, i take the pump off the cheap one , wash it, and put it on the good one (:

  • loreal true match foundation here in singapore has a pump. the only thing that i dont like is that they dont have warm tone only cool and neutral.

  • I have very yellow undertones. Are there any makeups other than Loreal True Match that you could recommend?

  • I love this foundation, but i do agree it is messy. :P

  • Does it clog your pores? =| Does it give you black heads? =\

  • Does this foundation have shimmer?! because when i looked at the bottle i saw some shimmer....im not sure if it was the bottle...

  • @JohnnyGoLightning The foundation doesn't contain shimmer. I think it's just the bottle. When you apply the foundation to the face, it's matte.

  • @poopwaffle Actually, last week i bought 2 of these, the lightest one and the darkest one for experimenting purposes and i realized when i applied it on my hand. the lightest one was matte, BUT the darkest one has these pink/red shimmer glitter things. but the lighter one definitely had no shimmer.

  • @poopwaffle: My True Match has shimmers in it - yes, on my face! And I swear its not from any other product either... I have no clue why it has shimmers. :/ pretty weird...

  • A beautiful face doesn't need makeup ;) Very beautiful and expressive eyes btw

  • hey sam ! please do a review on matte morphose foundation in loreal for oily skin as i ve terribly oily skin and none off the reviews say how it suits oily skin! plus i ve some lil acne so is it good or u feel true match is best as its good even for oily skin? plz let me know what u think..do u ve oily or dry skin?

  • I like the foundation too but the down side is that it get it can kind of caking and if you touch your face it swipe the foundation off. I really how it's a dewy finish but it too watery. I wish they can make a second version of this that is long last and thick.

  • @iambery it does really cakey on me too. i look horible after wearing it for a few hours plus i have oily skin.

  • if you sweat - will the foundation run?

  • for some reason it comes off really easy on me especially when I take my glasses off there will be foundation on my glasses..anyways I'm the same color as you so have you found a foundation that doesn't come off so easily and works great for oil/acne proned skin besides the maybeline super stay and if so what color did you get it in since I wear the same color as you....thanks =D

  • just pour some in the cap, then use a sponge or watever :)

  • It retails for over $10 at Rite Aid. But is slightly cheaper at Target.

  • They now come with a pump hooray! But in England it's £10.29 which is $16.90... how come it's so much cheaper in the US?!

  • this foundation dries me out so much and it is indeed very messy!

  • for sum reason I think I like this brand better than the new Fit me Maybaline foundation.I put on Fit Me make-up.but it looks to creasy for me.How does this compare to u,to the new Fit me make-up?

  • Does it have good coverage?

  • I have one with a pump..its still loreal true match, is it the same thing just new packaging?

  • The UK packaging for this foundation is MUCH better! it is a bigger bottle and has a pump, go to the superdrug website to get the uk versions of the american drugstore products :)<3

  • @SweetAnna96 yep! much better

Does the US still have this packaging?

  • I was just wondering how you actually applied it. Any tips??

  • in denmark it has a diffrent more modern packaging. it has a pump and it kida like the "loreal design" but its so much more expensive here. its 20 dollars?:8 weeeird...

  • I have a pump on my True Match :o

  • @blondandsmart123 In Europe you get a pump, in US you don't.

  • your eye makeup looks AHMAZING!!!!!!

  • in norway it has a pump :)

  • Can i ask what UD setting spray you use that makes it last a long time? thank you love!

  • @tessab0o

All Nighter Setting Spray :) I also have a review!

  • @saaammage awesome!! thanks pretty girl :)

  • @saaammage I started using this because of Kandee Johnson. Since its becoming warmer I think my skins changing a little and I'm looking to switch a foundation. I don't know if I should stick to the true match foundation or the photoready one. I WAS going to try the fit me foundation but everyone says it turns them into a grease ball within a half an hour and since I have oily prone skin, I think I'll stay away from that. You gave the fit me foundation a pretty harsh review too ha ha!

  • you are too cute! excellent speaker, straight to the point. and youre right it doesnt break you out. doesnt last as long as it could, about 8-10 hours, but it doesnt break you out which is awesome!

  • I'm a NC30 aswel..but I was under the assumption that is a cool undertone...am I way wrong?

  • @audioblowcaine

=/ yeaah.. it's actually warm. NC = not cool

  • @saaammage NC actually does stand for Neutral Cool, it would be a little silly if NC meant not cool. Haha. NW (Neutral Warm) is meant for cooler skin tones to neutralize them. NC (Neutral Cool) is meant for Warmer skin tones to neutralize them. So yellow and golden skins need an NC and pinkish skin needs an NW.

  • @audioblowcaine

Actually, you're right.. She's wrong. NC stands for Neutral Cool. Therefore it IS for cool skin tones.

  • @girliegirl7171

I don't want to argue about it so please don't think I am :) But NC includes yellow undertones.. for sure. Which are technically warm, and pink are cool. For instance if you check temptaila's foundation matrix.. and click warm undertones.. you'll end up with the NC chart.

  • @saaammage no NC is a cool tone, yellow is a cool color, Red/ pink, is a warm tone

    Yellow is a cool, olive

Red /Pink is a warm tone, I am a makeup artist

  • @aronshairdooforyou

If you are actually a make up artist, you'd know yellow/olive are the WARM tones, red/pink are the COOL tones. NC does stand for neutral cool, HOWEVER, the tones in NC are warm. The reasoning for this is because if you have a COOL complexion, the WARM tones found in that foundation will help balance it out. It's the same kind of reasoning used with green powder balancing out redness in skin. This information can be found online, so feel free to google it =)

  • @girliegirl7171 MAC foundations have always confused me. My skin-tone is more neutral but definitely warm not cool toned. I thought I was NW40, so I purchased a foundation in that shade. It ended up being way too pink for my face...so I went back and had someone at MAC match my foundation. He asked if I like my foundation more golden or pink and I said more golden and he said ok your NC40. He matched it up and it's perfect for me. So I'm confused as to how you can be NC with a cool undertone?

  • @audioblowcaine MAC foundations tend to be more yellow anyways... or at least from what I've seen and used.

  • @audioblowcaine nc is neutralizes cool which means it's warm toned.

  • @audioblowcaine NC is not cold (meaning you don't have pink undertones, you have yellow ones.) An easier way to tell is to look at your wrist under light and if more of your veins look blue, you're likely cool and if your veins look more green, you're most likely a yellow undertone. I've heard most blond haired blue eyed as well as Asian people have a yellow or neutral undertone and those with dark hair, pale skin and dark eyes or red heads are "true" cool undertone people :)

  • I have the concealer from this foundation and I love to use it as a light foundation because most products w/ SPF causes me to get an allergic reaction. Did u know in the uk this foundation comes in a pump package? No fair lol

  • you and i wear the same foundation:]

but i hace alot of practice with the runny messy one though so i can handle it!

  • you and i wear the same foundation:]

  • this make up sucks on my skin, i have oily acne prone skin, even if i got the oil free version it still made my nose look like the make just wasnt stayin on!! ugh its not my fave, my fave right now is REvlon colorstay and covergirl clean make up

Did Revlon Colorstay break you out??

  • @tizzy018

    Nope!

  • @MakeupWithSimon

Sorry! lol I was rushing through comments during class.

  • Kandee Johnson is amazing!! & so are you :)!

  • @girlymonex3

    Awww thank you!

  • CAn you tell me if you think that this would be a,good foundation for oily skin? Thanks

  • @MegaDamarys

It's...okay, not amazing but not bad on oily skin.

  • hello,

    i think you are gorgeouss.

& what can you recommend me i have a normal to dry skin and blemishes(my english isn't good sorry)

  • @MoroccanMilia

Thank you! & I'd recommend Maybelline super stay or l'oreal colorstay.

  • @MoroccanMilia

I mean revlon colorstay LOL sorry!

  • I've been looking for a drugstore foundation! I think I'm gonna try this!!! :)

  • hey ok i used to be obsessed with this foundation. but i had a bunch of peach hairs and i feel like this emphasizes it way more. i used the concealer for true match now kinda like a foundation but not as a full face foundation. idk i think there concealers are so much nicer than the foundation.

  • hey ok i used to be obsessed with this foundation. but i had a bunch of peach hairs and i feel like this emphasizes it way more. i used the concealer now kinda like a foundation but not as a full face foundation. idk i think there concealers are so much nicer than the foundation.

  • im not sure why they dont do it the same in all the countries!!! :D xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • in our country, the uk, ours has a pump!!!! :D xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • i really want to get this foundation :) and in the uk they have a pump :p xx

  • Holy crap, the entire time, I thought that right side of your hair was either pulled back or swooped back but then I realized that its just cut shorter -.-... LOL.. anyways I LOOOVE the foundation =D

  • @HitStep08

LOL don't worry your not the first person to do that.

  • Sam, did you ever try mineral foundation? If so, did it ever break you out?

  • @Jbsa1998

I have, I wore mineral before liquid... I didn't break out from everyday minerals... but I didn't use bare minerals enough to see if that would.

  • does it have glitter in it? i bought the concealer a long time ago and i didn't even noticed the glitter. lol.

  • @monstuhxo

    I don't think so :P

  • Have you tried Revlon Colorstay?

My shade for True Match is also W-4, so I was wondering what shade it compares to in Revlon Colorstay.

    :D

  • @melippg08

    I use 310 colorstay.

  • I have some questions : what drugstore concealer with cover pimples and dark circles? , What is your favorite drugstore foundation ( I have combination/oily/acne prone skin )? & wouldn't you match your foundation to your wrist ( because alot of gurus say match your foundations to your wrist.. which one is best, matching it to your wrist or neck)? thanks! <3

  • @XxAznKemo4LifexX

Either or is fine... I prefer my neck more because it helps me not have a mask look. My face is a lot lighter than my neck and wrist. Usually your wrist and neck will be similar anyways. My favorite is maybelline super stay and maybelline mineral power concealer.

  • isn't there a powder also ?

    how does that work?

  • @outofcuriosityy

They have "true match" powder as well but I do not own it.

  • what is the best concealer i can use for acne marks?

  • @lindseybaby138

Drugstore? My favorite is mineral power maybelline.. it works for my acne scars.

  • in europe it comes with a pump

  • @dolcerok lucky you. :(

  • I love this foundation SO much! It's so amazing to me. ^_^ <3

  • Hey Sam !! What do you think about the wet n wild gel eyeliner ??

  • @babybookali

It's my favorite liner of all time. Favorite out of all drugstore for sureeee.

  • The bottle in Europe has a pump!weird you guys dont have it.x

  • does this only come off if you cry and stuff or does it fade off during the day?

I am contemplating on this or maybelline super stay. I need a light weight hydrating foundation with light coverage that will last all day. I am yellow undertoned. help?

    thnx Sam!

  • @mzwndrwmn

Superstay might be a little to thick.. because it's a higher coverage. (But you could always apply it with a wet sponge for a lighter weight/look. It last a lot longer than True match. True match will come off when you cry, super stay will give more of a fight... and almost be perfect if you use a setting spray after you apply it. True match has a better color selection though. Take all these things into account! Good luck!

  • @saaammage Thanks so much! If I find a good match for Superstay, I might get that one and just apply it with a wet sponge or something.

    Thanks <3

  • Where i live this foundation got a pump, That's a little weird. xDbut I'm thankful for that :)

  • i love this product! its amazing!

  • how is this on oily skin??

  • @layneee618

It's not bad, but it doesn't control oils or anything.

  • i really like true match. although, i find maybelline smooth mouse is more hydrating. but i have yellow undertones and i need to get cool toned/pink foundations cuz i find that if i buy the warm undertoned ones, it makes me look jaundiced and to appear to be in liver failure, not cute. hehe. so i prefer to counter balance my tone with pink toned foundations which makes my face wake up. just sharings. love your videos.

  • in cyprus the new kind with the pump costs 20 euros. that sucks

  • is this a full coverage foundation?

  • In Norway it has a pump

  • @miss19001 yer so does australia i thought they didnt sell it in australia its just different packaing

  • you should try going to the dollar store and buying a little bottle that has a pump, then pour the product in there. trust me it will really help & make it easier ! & its a cheap way to fix it !

  • it has a pump here in Ireland :)

  • @pricilialiulia yeah and in england! x

  • so the warm tone ones are good for yellow undertones? please help me haha im kind of yellow undertoned and cant find a good foundation for me :/

  • @StayBeautifulx0

    Yes :)

  • you plug your finger on the opening on the bottle and shake it so the tip of your finger gets covered and you waste less foundation

  • @addicted2ulta I use a flat top brush =/ That is the technique I did when I tried it with my hands though, it just too a bit longer to work in.

  • @saaammage

i know, i use either a stipple brush or a foundation brush, i just dot it all over my face, i tried it with my hands and with a sponge but brushes are better at getting the job done.

  • @addicted2ulta thats also how you get bacteria growing in your liquid foundation bottle :)

  • @cherrydaisies

well, not if you sanitize your hands like i do :)

  • @addicted2ulta i sanitize my hands as well, but bacteria can still get in and start to grow. liquids are prone to hosting bacteria in comparison to powders or even cream formulas.... i learned all about this matter when i took a cosmetics diploma program at college.

  • @cherrydaisies

if you keep things clean and kept well, things like this wont be an issue, just whype off the opening everytime to remove said "bacteria"

  • i tried it but i didnt like it. its so runny and when i put it on it feels thick and cakey.

  • In Ireland the foundation has a pump! I have a Mac foundation. How much would a pump be sepertate? in dollars? ill do th calc!
