Vintate Magic Man from 1:47 to 1:52. I remember magic getting a triple double in this game, and it was sweet cause it was against karl malone. karl didn't want magic back in the league.. The good ol days, the lake show.
sam cassell is only qualified to comment on alien life forms, considering he is obviously not from this planet. the lakers lost to the rockets because they weren't committed to defense. both the games in houston were winnable...and it's a shame because they would've beaten seattle imho
Co-Sign! the only NBA player with the Best 'No-Look' pass! He is just spectacular. We only tend to appreciate them more when they're gone (eg: MJ with the Wizards).
GREAT footage! I was so excited when he came back, but in truth I didn't expect that much. Despite being out of the nba for 4+ years, he contributed very nicely off the bench. I remember that he didn't have much lift when jumping, not to mention his defense was pretty bad because of his added weight. YET, he still could shoot the three well, run the offense beautifully, and pass like only Magic could. =D
that last pass was unfucking real

Too bad Ceballos and Van Exel fucked up the chemistry right before the 96 playoffs; what a bunch of idiots.
After the Rockets eliminated the Lakers the same season, Sam Cassell said : "the 80's are over".
Spot on...

van exel? they had a horrible ass coach. HOw did they fuck it up?
Magic should have stayed for shaq. Now THAT's a Fuck-Up.

Van Exel was bitching about losing his minutes to Magic, because Johnson was gradually moving from the point-forward to the point-guard position

i don't remember that, i thought magic was like his idol
