  • Use a bigger pulley on the weedwacker because it would have more gear ratio

  • volate motor ??¿

  • have you thought of automating the Start/Gen switch ?

  • heelo sir, i also have a idea that in my task i use 3-phase induction motor which is coupled to induction generator in between a gear box which can increase the speed. will it works? please reply

  • ow.....my brain hurts

  • Hey man, Im watching your cool vids.

Its that a self running machine?

  • @kaizercharles no it runs on 2 stroke gas

  • nice job and well explained - thanks

  • Can you use an induction motor that has capacitor start?

  • yes, this one is capacitor start. (not cap run) once the gas engine is started, the cap is taken out of circuit as the cintrifical clutch inside the motor opens therefore disconnecting the cap. also start windings are seperate from run windings. (usually the thicker windings)

  • nice work

  • hi

the more capacitance you add the stronger the excitation on the rotor inside the motor.stronger magnet pull on the iron rotor.this will load the drive motor more if the capcitance is inccreased.there is a balance of capacitance versus how strong your drive motor maybe..

    thanks for you efforts...

  • too much capacitance will load the motor down too much even under a no load condition and if your motor has thermal protection or some sort of overload protection it will cut power flow to the motor, thus unloading it. but if the motor doesnt have protection you can burn it up so make sure it doesnt run too hot. if it does try reducing the capacitance or you need a larger motor to gain the output you need.
