  • Total load of shit sorry sloppy technique rubbish

  • Totally awesome Frank Trejo handling multiple attackers!!!

Paul Mills is not in the demo...

  • IT WOULD NEVER WORK IN A REAL WORLD SITUATION.

  • Can anyone list all the people who ae taking part in this demo?

  • Is Paul Mills in this Demo?

  • @kg7530mh I am pretty sure this is before Paul Mills was a protege of Mr. Parker. So I say no.

  • I hate it when WOMEN attack me! Thats why I need Kenpo!

  • Kenpo seems to have some good techniques but the demonstrations but it was demonstrated on someone who was standing still like a dummy. In a real fight, the other guy won't just stand there waiting to get his face kicked in.

  • @KurtCobain198666 then what were lees celebrity students given more for what they paid? private lessons? yes there probably is a political tone for the celebrities but who is anyone to question the descretion of Ed Parker and other great teachers?they were human, maybe it was and honorarium type thing? look at the quality of his others like Paul Mills, tatum, speakman etc. talk it over with these guys and post please.....

  • come hell or high water I WILL become a great like those Kenpoists

  • @DarkCode talking about jkd versus kenpo, you do realise Ed Parker personally invited Bruce Lee to the Long Beach Karate Tournament to give a demo because he admired Lee. Ed Parker also said Lee was 'pound for pound the best martial artist i've ever seen' I know thats only comparing fighters, and not styles, but if you look at JKD it's much more 'street ready' than american kenpo.

  • @KurtCobain198666 ?? I haven't been to this post in a long while. Well I still think an Ed Parker in his prime would defeat a Bruce lee in his prime. Besides is not the Art its the person who makes the whatever Art the best. By the way that is a teaching from Ip Man Bruce Lee's teacher and mentor.

  • @DarkCode Ed could only think inside of the box of american kenpo. Lee was continuously adapting and taking ideas from other styles. So as his opponenet moved in one way, Lee would chance. But his opponent wouldn't be able to change because they're stuck in the mindset that there style wouldn't fail them.

  • @KurtCobain198666 I'm not sure that's accurate. Ed was to me an outside the box kind of guy. It comes down to the person behind the martial art and to me Ed will always be the best until someone comes along that's better haven't seen anyone except a few that have come close like Bruce and Jet Li. I also like Jackie and Donnie

  • @DarkCode You need to study JKD, don't watch vids, go train with people like Inosanto. The reason Lee and JKD is better than american kenpo is a simple reason. JKD has no bi-products. American Kenpo aims at producing self defence, but tests it's students abilities with Kata. Kata doesn't tell you whether you're an able martial artist. The techniques are still very much 'if i do this, then he does that, then i win by doing this.' JKD deals with what would happen, not what you hope to happen.

  • @DarkCode Another reason to have no respect for Ed Parker. Parker trained Elvis in karate, and Elvis payed a huge some of money for these private lessons. Elvis was awarded the 2nd degree in 1963, skipped the third degree, was awarded 4th sometime in the 60s, 5th in 1971, 6th in early 1973, and eighth in August 1974. Wow, sounds like a legit teacher. BUT Chuck Norries trained Priscilla and when she was a green belt, she beat Elvis while sparring. Yeah, Parker sounds like a model instructor huh?

  • @KurtCobain198666 ? Dude stop bashing Ken Parker. Look at this video. Good luck ever being half as good as he was. Lay off man. I doubt priscilla beat elvis but even if she did so what? There could be a thousand reasons why. Even a white belt can beat a black belt if they properly execute a move even if its just one move they have mastered. Don't write me again.

  • @KurtCobain198666 That's *Ed Parker*

  • @BushidoCode72 also it's only a demo it's not supposed to be real

  • @BushidoCode72 Just because they lost doesn't mean Kenpo is the Lesser Art. I assure you someone with the Skill of Ed Parker would school 99 % of all Martial Artist & I leave the 1 percent out because there's always room for improvement and there is always one person who rises to the top.

Oh Ed Parker Thanks for the Legend and the Legacy. Kenpo Karate #1. Ps I never lost lol and i've taken champtionship kicks and didn't even move 3 inches. Its the Inner Stregth/Will/Focus/Balance/Intellect.

  • Me sientop orgulloso de haber entrenado y asistido a muchos seminarios con varios de los descendientes del Maestro Ed Parker.

  • American Kenpo / Kempo is always versatile and highly technical and advance with more applications than that of your usual karate , taekwondo or striking arts.

Kenpo Kempo is a no nonsense art provided you can palm heel strike , eye gouges , neck strikes , kidney and groin strikes , pressure points and breaking limbs or joints , it is purely an art.

But Kenpo / Kempo have more scientific and pratical approach once you master the foundations.

  • yeah you can also use your nails who's the guy throwing the others around.

  • This view is much better than the other side of the stage.

  • I was itting with Frank Trejo yesterday in my dojo and we found this version posted on You Tube...it's great! Where did it come from? He said this was right after he recovered from breaking his neck and everybody said he was "done"...yeah, right!

  • @supermommaloha Trejo is Mr. demo boy, but his demos sometimes don't go well. Specially if they have not rehearsed them well enough... LOL

  • great stuff thanks for sharing

    any more

  • hmm the one i saw i think was another view from the other side of the stage

  • YES THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR

  • What was cool about this one is that in my favorites I have the same demo filmed from the other side of the stage from a different angle. Have you looked at that version yet?

  • @franktheforce This version is far superior.
