hey sliptuna- i totally agree with you! i have a 4 year old dobe and she is so sweet and a total goof-ball, but there are people that actually cross the street when they see her! Dobes get bad reps, but most of the dobes i know are incredible family dogs! Wish more people knew that.
lol....i have a solid balck akc german shepherd and she's crazy about water too. sometimes gets me realy mad becasue you can't water the plants when she's around and she likes to chew on anything thats rubber or anything she can get in her mouth.
Goes to show, a Dobe is simply a dog with a good sense of play and joy. People need to be shown this side of the Dobe. Thanks to our Hollywood, the breed has gotten a smudged name.
