why do the mega man games just keep getting harder. i grewup on megaman 2 and beat it with some difficulty on both modes... now i have computer emulaters for getting the other games,,, i got 3 and it was complicated as hell and the bosses health wasnt exactly 28 while useing the buster. i beat it then got 4. and beat it today... it was fucking hard and the bosses took alot of work to kill... overall they were really fun though

@mcashx87x This tune right here have that jump feeling old power metal have in the 80's so I don't agree with you fully (never listened to Cloven Hoof from UK?). Shatterhand (a great game by Jaleco from '91) is far from Scandinavian melodic death metal scene. In fact, these bands started in 1994 when Mega Man was already on Mega Man X for SNES. Japanese people back then and now was/is a big fan of heavy metal. I even get Armored Saint's False Alarm vibes in a game for NES.

@TheGoldenPS1 Yeah I do agree with you. I know the Melo Death scene didn't break out till the mid 90s, I was just comparing the sound to it. A good example would be Metal Man's theme from MM2. The arangements in Mega Man music, particularily the harmonies do give it a power metal vibe, I do agree. Check out the main theme from Strider (NES). Very power metal-esque indeed.

This tune is fast paced fury! Both sides waiting until the right moment then unleashing pure hell on one another in a glorious action sequence. There is passion in this tune, vengeance for Wily and Mega is knowing failure is not an option for the safety of the world. He knows every step he makes must be correct and senses the urgency at all times. I think its the best boss tune ever made for Megaman.

what makes this final boss music the best is the sense of urgency and desperation knowing how far you'd made it and there was nothing you'd faced as hard as wily before. as soon as you walked in and the room went complete pitch black and stayed that way this would be a battle to be reckoned with. the music let you know if you didn't beat him now all would be lost.

I loved it so much, yet hated it for sometime, only cos I got stuck trying to beat bosses like brightman and ringman, but once I got them out of the way......I think my heart melted, I fell in love with the game as it got easier!
