Great video. I went to 9 Mike Stern shows at the Jazz Showcase in Chicago this year. He is great and a cool unpretentious genuine person.

Reminds me of Pat Martino's All sides now, the album had tunes with Satriani, Michael hedges & of course Mike Stern was there playing on a tune called Outrider... I actually have a guitar signed by Mike Stern and we jammed a bit, but I m sure he doesn't recall a thing ;) that was in Beirut somewhere in 2002, he was working on his album voices back at the times. Yeap !!! I was a kid back then...

Mike Stern and Steve Vai!!! this is absolutely amazing and cool!! a really resounding lesson of open mind and horizons for MANY MANY ridiculous jazz guitar players suffering of that sick, shameful bad attitude towards EVERY rock guitarist, Mike Stern is delivering a well deserve knock out to such arrogant behavior!!!!
