The new Toureg makes the Q7 and Q5 pointless. It's great on road and is a true off roader too. Perfect!

no.1 rule for driving down a hill is don't use the brakes use the engines braking to take you to the bottom of the hill safely

I'm not an expert but I notice that when the Porsche Cayenne is in the Hill Descent Mode and going down a muddy slope, the 4 wheels are constantly adjusting from breaking to spinning. The driver does not have to step on the break pedal at all. Here, all 4 wheels of the Q7 are locked. So I guess Q7 does not have HDM?

Look at the clip of Range Rover, "2009 Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Land Rover", at 0:48 and will see that not even that steep dry hill it slides and has some wheels locked, Q7 is truly great production and given to all professional drivers and judges will acknowledge that.

SUVs are my favourite Q7s are excellent. Out of all BMW, Mercedes, VW, Porsche, Range Rover, Q7 comes in 1st or 2nd place for sure. I have driven mentioned above and truly the only competition in general to Q7 is the big Range Rover. The surface is extremely muddy and its normal for it to slide the way it did.
