Hey is there a way to turn off the dopler effect. Its sounds good when a trains going by blasting its horn, but I've notice a lot of times it sounds like
@Joshuajlawn Not that I know of, no. It does sound a little crummy, but I'm sure Auran/N3V might do a patch of some sort if enough people complain. Thanks for watching!
@Joshuajlawn Yeah, if you go into the "options setting" when you get to the trainz main screen, in game that is, there is a sound option at the bottom of the list and has "3d sound" ticked. If you untick that, it should work right.
@ubcs109 Every single engine you see in this video was included with TS12. Though you have all of these trains built in to the game, there are lots of incredible engines you can also get from JointedRail(Dot)com!

It's just I'm a huge Railworks fan, but you can only do the same routes so many times and I'm no good with the map editing. Does this game feature all the major American company's? Like UP, CSX, BNSF, and so on. Really looking to buy this game, but only if I find that it's worth the $50. I'm only interested in the American railroad, don't care about any European trains. And is the multiplayer ok?
@ubcs109 I enjoy the multiplayer a lot! You do need a decent computer to run it, I will admit that, but any one that I've talked to who runs Trainz normally and tries Railworks hates it. Not to say it is a bad simulator. It is gorgeous from what I've seen and heard, but the editor and sounds just aren't up to par. TS12 now has the dopplar effect, just like MSTS and Railworks, so it is now about as good as both simulators. There is only GOOD engines and rollingstock for the AT&SF railway and the-
@Conrail45 Southern PAcific, but that is about it. Like I said though, JointedRail has some amazing quality work, and they came from Railworks. They have things for just about every single American railway out there! CSX, NS, BNSF, BN, ATSF, Conrail, Chessie System, Seaboard, Penn Central, Amtrak, and lots more! Given they don;t have every engine for every road name, but if you're willing to shell out some money, you won't be disappointed! Personally I've probably spent almost $200 on it!
@TrainGuy33 Yes it is! It is not default, it is a route I found on the DLS, not sure of the name, but I replaced the track and textures to make it look better. Hope you enjoyed it!
@Barricade360 Check your game settings when you are on the main launcher, and play around with them. Uncheck enable hardware acceleration, and switch to and from direct x and opengl and see if that gives you any preformance differences.

@CSX2665 Can't remember. I never really used the dynamic brakes in Trainz. My main focus was on building. Sorry.
