@anthonyatom I'd suggest getting the R4 SDHC. It works amazing, and from what I see, this emulator is just crap. It has a lot of speed and audio issues for every game I play.

Yeah, while a lot of emulators work fine on the DS, the SNES still needs work. A lot of the games have slowdown problems or issues with the sound. It's harder to emulate on the DS than the NES, GBA or Gameboy, which run fine.

For those that have used it, does it support most games and what kind of bugs does it have? I went to the main site for it, but it looks like its no longer updated. Would love to play some of the old classics like Super Metroid, NBA jam and even some mortal combat.

Super Mario RPG is SA-1 type, so it's not supported (most games with special chips aren't supported on SNEmulDS, examples are Yoshi's Island SNES Version and Star Fox 1 that has Super FX, Super Mario Kart that has DSP-1, Star Ocean with SDD-1). Sorry about the long response.

I also have this snes emulator running on my ds, using an r4, and for those who want to attempt it, don't bother. It'spretty much unplayable with most games. Alot of windows and things overlap.

SA-1 is a co-processor [special chip] that's meant to make certain games faster and stronger (such as Mario RPG and Kirby Dream Land 3). Normally, any game with a chip built inside can't be played until it can be pulled off (last I heard on PocketHeaven, there wasn't much updates to this point).

Can't seem to get 0.6alpha or any other version of SNEMULDS to work. I put the config file in the Root directory along with the SNEMULDS(DLDI patched for g6 lite which I am using). When I start up SNEMULDS, it loads fine but when I go to "select rom", I just see a blank black screen. Yes the Roms are in the "SNES" folder and everything and I use a g6 lite w/ patch 4.8. Any ideas or help?

No, he just set the speed to a different mode. If you leave it as is and also change the graphics automatically, the emulator is almost perfect for most roms.

This works on the Datel Games n' Music, which is available in stores. It doesn't play pirated games, but then again, why play poor compatibility illegal images when you can just buy the DS cards of the real games. The emulator is nice, but not many SNES ROMS are supported.

To scroll the screen, touch "Options" then set yscroll to Bottom (might be "Down"). Not all ROMS play though, Super Mario All Stars is one of the few I've gotten working, Mario Paint works too, but Super Mario RPG, Super Mario Kart, etc don't want to boot correctly. This is the emulator's problem, but SNEmulDS is so far the best SNES emu for DS.
