@LilGuhAirEe yes of course you'll get charged for data it's a smart phone ie smart it sends information about the device you are running to the provider AT&T will catch that it's missing data on that plan and automatically add the biggest plan to your service.. a way around this dl "data blocker" from cydia or turn it off in settings/network /data.. that's what I do for my 3GS .. without an unlock if prepaid unlock.
