@falsepride I have done kenpo for a while and I've found that the speed just comes naturally with years of repetition. I wouldn't accredit the speed development to one particular method of training. Everything from bag work (boxing bags or kick shields), hands-on practice, and even just practicing in the air have all helped. It's all about the repetition.
Although i must admit ed's kenpo works. I used it in an alley where a guy was trying to stab me.
