I remember a video by Zoklo on one of the Duffy Twins. It sounded as he said him and his brothers were the only Duffys' that were know for 52. Now that I see the man (Michael Duffy from Street Kingdom) in the flesh, I would love to see what Tweety taught him.
its great to hear stories like this as without a voice knowledge runs the risk of being lost and or forgotten. The PI is traditionally a tribal culture w/ little history that wasnt transcribed by spanish opressors., knoweledge was passed on by big brothers, fathers, uncles and such picked up here, there etc..very informal. nice to see that paradigm live on in other cultures.
I heard this guy was one of the most feared streetfighters in brooklyn back in the day. He used to have dreads I think.
