They were twins, orphaned, abandoned by their parents in the midst of a war, to an organization to which they were enslaved, abused and used in sexual exploitations. Mind you.. These are children. The youth, whom take in all around them at a very young age. Who begin learning, and live the rest of their life with such. In such an environment.. Can you blame them?

I agree. You can't actually blame them for what they became...

...but then again you can't let them live either. Just as you said they took all of that in at a very young age...their personality formed that way. No matter how much you try to change them after they grew up like that you'll never succeed and they won't lose their instinct to kill instead of being killed.

So eventhough I liked both of them a lot, them dying was the best solution.

What else could you do? Cage them up in prison or a psychatry? They've already been caged up all their lives, so returning them to that state would have been more sadistic than killing them. At least they got the chance to taste freedom once before dying.

Usually it takes a kid around 8-9 years to develop their own personality by learning from their parents/friends/surroundings maybe eben from the TV. From that point onwards "education" just means just making some little changes, while the personality stays the same to about 90%.

Hanzel and Gretel passed that age and it would even take them a few more years to actually trust anybody. And then, even if they did it would take decades (and thats only if it does actually work) to change their

personality and view of the world to actually call them normal humanbeings.

It just ain#t as easy as you think it is. A kid thats beaten by it's parents learns that violence is kind of an argument and will most likely beat other people too. A dog thats thought to bite if it hears a special word will just do so.

And just like that if the 2 kids learned that they have to kill if they want to survive without being raped and having to suffer thats nothing you can get rid of in a few years.

So what I mean is: Psychatry may be possible but if you put them in there they will either stay there for a few decades or won't even get out.

I understand that you think "death" is a harder punishment for them than psychatry but in death they can at least find rest, while they'd only suffer more if they were caged up again.

Sadly Psychatry isn't even an Institution that people are "helped" at anymore. They're just drugged and caged up.
