i was there right across the river prolly 100 yards from the fireworks!!! it was the craziest thing ever!! there was peices of fireworks on our blanket!!

i was on the roof of the radio station when this happened. It was seriously like watching a war movie it was freaking/scary/sad all at the same moment. I ran down there as fast as i could to help and there was a guy bleeding horribly from his ears and trying to use his phone while the paramedics were trying to get it away form him and help him. It was so sad.

I was directly across the sreet from this. @ first people were cheering bcuz they thought it was the finale, until they heard people screaming and the finale took place after the explosion. it was tragic. a 18 yr. old woman was prego and was hurt. they (her & the baby) both lived,tho. thank God.

I know some of the pyrotechs with this company and I bet they feel like shit. They have done this for years and are a very professional group. It is too bad that something like this had to happen. I just hope that everyone will recover. Kudos to Mark Wicks for taking the film footage.

We had something very similar happen here in WV a few years back. all i can really remember of it was GREEN RED and running like hell. Ours was a misfire on a barge tho, so the brunt of it was bouncing off the bridge. good times, good times.

that was very scary being there... Me and my friends were there.. We thought it was part of the finale until people started screaming. One person fell to the ground so we started going over there to see if they were okay. Then a second set went off. We just ran as fast as we could... As of now 37 people are confirmed injured.. Charles City if having very bad luck.. It was sooo scary but the view from the sky is scarier.. Keep the injured in your prayers...
