Also, as a man who has toured as a sound guy, you cannot expect to be taken seriously if you don't at least shell out the cash for a *basic* 57 and a box to dump XLR to 1/4 then to 1/8 inch (since I assume you don't have a breakout box). Music isn't CS, treat it with respect.
