  • He actually gave dynamite to BUGS BUNNY! of all people.

  • True, anything can happen in Texas, like create a family called Bush, who were idiots as Presidents.

  • Bugs could use the carrot gusher to help feed the homeless.

  • Bugs smokes? That's why he has a cigarette lighter?

  • He tells Maverick next to him to keep his eyes open and then tells Maverick above him to lower down dynamite. Not very bright, is he, to realize there aren't 2 of them.

  • I don't think Sam wants another cake, after the last one knocked his teeth out, which is why he gets mad when Bugs mentions baking a cake.

  • What did he wish for? Bugs to die?

  • You can still see the operator doing her thing as Maverick drives by on his scooter, which he doesn't need since he has a wheel foot.

  • I love it when the Sam character sees Bugs and drops his hammer and grabs his guns and points them at him.

  • why does bugs call it a "Cigarrette llighter" ?... oh rigth! it was that beautiful time when cartoons characters smoked ! see the flintstones cigarrette ad! ( im totally against that of course )

  • Why does Yosemite Sam have black hair??

  • @cstring420 its not sam its a texus version of sam

  • i love this cartoon

  • isn't this guy basically yosemite sam?

  • @rumbler227 a texas version

  • "Anything can happen in Texas."

  • And what happens in Texas stays in Texas, and I'm getting me those carrots baby!

  • wow its shocking on how many episodes are on here i been watching all day o.O LOONEY TUNES RULEZ!!

  • Maverick is so cool

  • 3:48

  • "I'll bake ya a cake!" lololololololol

  • @DoomRulz He did that and look what happened to Sam's teeth.

  • @USAFreedomReform A lot of old WB cartoons contained gags with hidden innuendo. They seemed innocent but there was often a double meaning behind some of the jokes, and it was often sexual or something off-limits for back in the day. This cartoon was no exception. At 4:10 after he makes a wish and blows out the dynamite candles, he covers his mouth in embarrassment, as if he wished for something off color. Watch some of the other WB cartoons, especially around WWII and you'll see what I mean

  • some relatives of yosemite sam

  • @dogooda Or the Bush family. :)

  • One of my favorites for many years. Highly appreciated for posting this!

  • @2:00. They look like the two guys from Mythbusters...Jamie and Adam. lol

  • Oh my gosh I haven't seen this one in years. Loved it so much as a kid, thanks to who ever downloaded it.

  • RIP Mel....you'll always be the best :D

  • "I got too much of the filthy green stuff already... "

Well then roll some of it up and pass it around...

  • @sarahewright9 - I wish it was that kind of green stuff! Anyway, he's got too much money, which is what he calls "filthy green stuff"!

  • @OldsVistaCruiser It is a joke on the expression "filthy rich".

  • @sarahewright9 You know he was talking about cash right?

  • @leftcoaster67 Yes, I know. I watched these all the time when I was a kid. I also grew up to enjoy pot. You do the math.

  • @sarahewright9 your mind was blown.

  • @sarahewright9 what math???

  • @sarahewright9 Best idea I heard all day!

  • Bugs has a cigarette lighter? Bugs smokes?

  • @kingovharts Hey, I thought that too and posted it before I saw your comment.

  • the original Daniel Plainview

  • this is good and funny

  • 4 people must be Devil Rich Texans.

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the tune that starts playing at 2:19?

  • @kpotassium "Powerhouse" composed by Raymond Scott

  • Why oh why could society not leave these cartoons alone. They are harmless and FUNNY and CLEAN !! No foul mouthed talk about indecent things,no homosexual talk,no terrorists(Bugs Bunny was the only terror in these cartoons),no talk about bodily fluids left behind.Just good ole cartoon comedy at its very best.Since then it has went to the gutter.Look at Family Guy,The Simpsons, and other modern cartoons and the decline is evident. The USA is a terribly sinful place now verses back then,1950's.

  • @USAFreedomReform - No homosexual stuff? Bugs was FAMOUS for dressing in drag and kissing guys! In "Rebel Rabbit", Bugs WAS a terrorist! Warner cartoons were well-known for their hidden meanings. In "A Tale of Two Kitties", they mentioned the middle finger in 1942 ("If the Hays Office would only let me, I'd give him the bird, all right!"). In "The Hardship of Miles Standish", an Indian clearly mouths "goddamn son of a bitch". Bugs mouthed "f**king a**hole" at the end of "Rhapsody Rabbit".

  • I disagree... ignorance towards ecology, blatant nationalism, racism and homophobia seem pretty commonplace then. Still around today, but at least we're more aware of it, and possibly in some respects less. I do agree that cartoons back then were superior though, and only in that respect should we try to emulate the fifties more. Of course most of the problems with that have to do with theatrical cartoon vs television and the advantages of making the former...

  • @elephantmarch oh shut it - what's so wrong with owning people??

  • it seems like the other 2 directors had their own Yosemite Sam in at least one cartoon. McKimson (Oily Hare), Jones (Mississippi Hare)

  • You can't argue with a classic.

  • Lol 4:44 fucking funny!!

  • i only have half this cartoon on vhs from when i was 5. this the first time i see this whole cartoon ever. great and funny!!! Honestly, how does Maverick make sharp turns with that long ass limo?!

  • I love that added music at 0:23

  • Pause at 5:48

  • That's what I call a "long stretch limo" when you have your own personal phone operator and Maverick needing a scooter to get to the back. The oil tycoon's name is never mentioned in the toon.

  • @yocuzz100 The oil tycoon could be Yosemite Sam's true self. :-)

  • MAAAAAAVERIIIIIIIIICK!!!!!!!!!!

  • When I was little, the look in his eyes @4:11 used to scare the furk out of me.

  • Maverick is wearing long johns, they just look like pjs.

  • whys the maverick wearing PJs

  • @1ninjamuffin1 I thought that was underwear.

  • "Doggone it, Maverick, it's so dark down here, I can't see ma hand before ma face!"

  • THAT's A LOT OF DYNAMITE!!!!

  • @jackandjill123100 Well, he asked for a whole heap of it.

  • does anyone know the name of the music around 2:10?

They play it in a lot of bugs bunny cartoons.

  • @Erilis666 its called POWERHOUSE i hope that helped :) you can find even original on youtube i did

  • Hope he does'nt have a gas stove with all that oil around.

  • Was bugs trying to make ....carrotcake?

  • Maverick!

  • Ha! Back then they thought the idea of being able to make a phone call in a car was ridiculous! But look at what's happened to phones now.

  • 5:34 NOT SO FAAAAAAAAAAST

  • I love it..." Go on ...scoot, scoot, scoot..." "As long as I know you are coming, I'll bake a cake!"....Timeless...

  • this black mustache cowboy is like Yosmite Sam what really gives it away is th " OOOOOOOOOOOO " when they get mad

  • @calebwyles12 -- Also, the way he snickers at 3:25 just before pushing the plunger sounds like Sam when he's up to no good.

  • AHAHAH!! youve got to love them!! ahh the originals! nver leave us!

  • Haha this is exactly what Texas is like, trust me I live in Dallas

  • This is long distance. Just a little ol' minute, ple-ase! LOL! God bless! Thanx for postin' it!

  • @DaveWollenberg - At 1:48, the crest on the back door of the limo reads "DEVIL RICH TEXAN."

  • His body disappeared at 5:30.

  • @Johnffrey87 cuz he was bugs

  • @Johnffrey87 LOL XD If you pause at the right time it looks super silly.
