I'm not quite sure how I feel about "Tokyo Punch" to be honest. Stereotypes exist, both negative and positive, and that is a fact I have come to deal with while majoring in Japanese. The animation is superb. The fact that gaijin are gainfully employed in Japan to work on it is also a plus. But is it really necessary to have one more piece of video entertainment that pokes fun at foreigners in Japan?

When I visit Japan, which I do 3 times a year on average, it is both mildly entertaining and distressing that Japanese fear I am going to use English with them when I first approach. You can almost smell the fear they have at the idea that they will have to use English with me. Even though I am quite versed in their own language. Sorry for rambling on your comments cooney! I'll move along now.
