I've executed an aborted takeoff in an Airbus a330-200 simulator at just under V1 speeds with an engine fire in Manchester, UK. It really is fun (maybe not in a real world situation). Great video 'Cessna154' :D

For a payware model, I recommend the CLS A330. It comes with the -200, -300, and also the A340-200 and -300. (Nice deal if ya ask me)

I fly A320s from melbourne, Australia to Sydney then mildura and back they do brake pretty quick and can be a bit slow to respond to stick input

Airbus aircraft actually do brake quickly in real life. I just flew into sydney today on an A320, and i almost hit my head on the bulkhead because of the rapid braking!

I've seen a lot of your videos, and I've noticed something. You land WAY Beyond the Rwy Threshold, you dont respect the PAPI (those for white and red lights left of the runway). And yes the Airbus A319/20/21 and the A330 stop fairly quickly on rejected takeoff

@Chriskoj yeah i like boeing better but airbus have made a few decent things with the A330, A340, A380 and those are the airbus's i really like. only ever actually flew on a airbus once when i was 8 years old to and from turkey. ii love the virgin atlantic boeing 747-400 but it could do with a update interior and exterior not much but just little bits.

i fly airbus on flight sim, the real sim, and in real life. they are hard to get used to because we use fly by wire which means their is a computer inbetween the pilots command and the controls so for example if the plane was going to stall it would ingage A.Floor Toga which is autotrust and give engines full thrust. so be careful on landing because if your to slow the plane will reject the landing for you. Good luck flying airbus, I dont care for boeing

@Fsadon I call them "SCAREBUS". I dont like airbus. When i fly on them i always have a feeling that the pilot is not in control, there are always cockpit voice recordings saying 'why is it still in this mode" ect. Boeing just feels alot more "real" if you catch my drift.

ive flown airbus many times. as i havehad experience witht the fly-by-wire systems and have purchased the wilco a320 aircraft. using te aircraft i do like airbus a but better. yes the aircrafts are differant in many ways, i just think airbus is a weeeee weee bit safer.

Oh wow, this is the Thomas Ruth Airbus A330-300! For those of you looking for it, it is uploaded to both flightsim and simviation with the filename "toma333b.zip" and is much better programmed than the default A321 which is part of the reason many flight simmers and patriotic Americans are staying away from the Airbus aircraft of FSX!

Actually a regular joystick is more realistic than a yoke if you're flying any real aircraft, basically it's just those ugly-ass Boeing school buses that uses yokes. =)

airbus is the shit! it has new high tech panel displays and has fly-by-wire technology which makes the computers fly automatically for you, say the pilot accidentally put in 100knots during cruise level, the fly-by-wire technology will correct the error and put in 280knots. It you stall, the computer will fly for you until the aircraft is stable again. Plus the brand new Airbus A350-800/900/1000/XBW thats coming out in 2013 is going to be super high-tech looking! cant wait for it!!!! AIRBUS!!!!!

airbus are much better to contol. in a boeing you have to move the yoke with your whole arms, but in an airbus you only have the sidestick which you control just with your fingers. so you operate more precisely....

actually that is not true because my dad flew a lot o f planes and he always uses two fingers even though this has nothing to do with boeing or airbus when he got checked out in a dash 8 he had to do a 360 and he did it with 2 fingers and didn't even loose a foot of altitude then he told me to try it out and its super easy if you know how to fly or want to become one you should try it out :)

I've flown both aircraft, the PMDG 737 and PSS A320, and believe the A320 is so much easier. But again, I started flying "professionaly" with Airbus. Maybe if I started with Boeing instead I would say the opposite :P

I would like to see you fly with A 340 cause its even more interesting in my opinion. It is very long and not so easy to land.

I think boeing are easier to fly, but i think the looking of the Airbus planes is better. The cockpits are more friendly and i find the instruments faster. But i admit all your opinions, cause everyone has another :)
