@cameronjr8 I'd say because I don't like whiners. Especially whiners that whine when they get caught. In G1, there were some cases where Screamer was correct and Megatron was wrong, some when Megs was correct and Screamer was wrong, and even times when both were wrong.
Screamer had it coming to him in every reincarnation. And he felt wronged when Megs fought back or got revenge? If he didn't want that treatment he should've never tried to kill Megs. He should've left the ranks.

From what we see of Prowl and Jazz trying to reconstitute the AllSpark, they run into difficulty getting enough fragments together, which is why he ultimately sacrifices himself. Their processor over matter technique presumably has some kind of range or other limit for this problem to arise - Starscream was in range, the ones who survived weren't.
It's actually pretty fitting. If he'd stayed on the moon, he probably wouldn't have been in range of the whole processor-over-matter thing. But instead, he went to Earth to see Megs die, and he paid for it with his life.

starscream was bound to die the moment megatron killed him. no way he could have survived the end of tf: animated, that's an easy rule of story writing. it would have felt wrong if he had stayed alive.
@Grievousapprentice15 There was supposed to be a scene in this episode where Slipsteam somehow revives Starscream but it was cut for time. Also the shows creative team said that if the series would continue, Starscream's ghost would have been a minor villain. So make of that what you will.
Not really "stole". It was sort of an accident. In "Megatron Rising", Megatron killed Starscream, and in the same episode, the AllSpark was dispersed. Starscream's just plain lucky a fragment somehow wound up in his head.
But, yeah, he was living on borrowed time, and Prowl and Jazz didn't intentionally kill him. I'm not even sure they knew he was AllSpark-powered. It was just a side-effect of re-constituting the AllSpark to save the world. Even if they did know, it was still the right choice.
Technically speaking, wasn't he undead? Megatron had, after all, extinguished his bona-fide spark. The only thing that animated him was a stolen piece of Allspark.

That concept was designed as a means to bring him back, but as of now his status seems to be 'dead'.
In any case, his cubed body was thrown into an incinerator, unless they have malfunctioning equipment for seriously long periods of time, I doubt his remains weren't destroyed..
Because what was used is what an incinerator chute looks like, plus it's the most effective method of waste disposal and every source I've come across has listed it as an incinerator.
Chances are, even if he did survive being crushed, he's been fried.

Starscream is the best Decepticon EVER,and the producers had to remove him,why WTH didnt they remove some1 less important,and with lesser fans.I just hope,that if the producers make season 4,that they will return both Starscream and Prowl

Season 3 may be the most dark season of TFA yet. Blurr is apparently killed, Ultra Magnus is badly damaged, and now Starscream and Prowl are dead.

Blurr isn't dead. According to Derrick J Wyatt, Blurr's spark is supposed to be showing, but wasn't shown during "Transwarped".

I'm not taking any bets that Blurr is still alive.
That concept was designed as a means to bring him back, but as of now his status seems to be 'dead'.
In any case, his cubed body was thrown into an incinerator, unless they have malfunctioning equipment for seriously long periods of time, I doubt his remains weren't destroyed..

Because what was used is what an incinerator chute looks like, plus it's the most effective method of waste disposal and every source I've come across has listed it as an incinerator.
Chances are, even if he did survive being crushed, he's been fried.
