my sense of the ending is this: the germans were getting weakened by the huge resistance movement (if the resistance can break into the freaking white house, i'm pretty sure it's pretty well equipped, well trained, and badass), and so, the A-Bomb was the last resort weapon. w/o the A-Bomb, the nazis are pretty much screwed. so Carson did give his life and win the war.

though i agree that the ending would've been MUCH better if he survived.

The bomb had a 4 sec fuse, and it was on the ground. Idk how Carson could've really done anything. I actually think he originally just wanted to drop the bomb down the hole w/o arming it, but it fell on the ground.

Remember, the nuke is bigger than he is.

yes, it's a game and it isn't super realistic (healing health isn't realistic), but even in the game's context, there is no super speed. even if it gave me a chance to sprint, i still can't jump down the hole in 4 sec.

yeah, there are bad points (graphics are sub par, and there are a huge amount of glitches), but i immensely enjoyed it mainly for its storyline (i always fancied alternate history things).

Bad graphics, bad AI all around, Insane mode wasn't actually insane, It also froze a lot. The disk couldn't even pump out the last cut scene. I was actually able to try online,which surprised me because I barely found anyone. They only have two types of game play, death match and team death match. When I got to play online the way the other people would walk would be gliding their feet. This game is a 5.5/10 only reason it isn't lower is because original spin on WW2 for a video game
