I read an article that said the movie "Gentleman Jim" depicted the few rounds of the fight exactly as it occurred; with Ward Bond as John L, and Errol Flynn as Corbett. Flynn was a perfect choice .

@margot9230 From what I've read the fight was not the most entertaining or exciting to watch, but it was historical. In modern parlance, it was a clinker. If I picked a Sullivan fight to see it would be his fight with Ryan in '82 for the title. And a Corbett fight I'd like to see is his barge fight with Choynski in '89
