Benzoyl peroxide creams are the way to go. They cost a tiny amount for a ton and work really well. I used to have terrible acne and now have none thanks to a virtually unknown and dirt-cheap product. Freederm etc. and all those you see advertised were such a waste of money. I wish I'd known when I was 13; my teenage years would have been much happier.
@CrispyClaire I know proactiv has BP in it too, but has a reputation for not working as well as a simple BP cream and for losing its power over time. I guess they dilute it with other products, I dunno. And it's super expensive.
