Needless to say, after 20 years, she's being set up by the INS and being deported. Vince has got one of the most recognizable voices in country music today. Very few stand out. Don Williams... another GREAT country voice. Dan Seals was another one. May he rest in God's peace.

its great to see one of the very few true country artists with real vocal as well as musical talent that are trul incredible. watched him on eric clapton's crossroads benefit and he picked with the best of the world's best players. he's really great, and i hope he never puts on one of those stupid cowboy hats like all of those wanna-bee's if you know what i mean.....

The difference is he is a believer and he knows no matter the reason divorce equals adulturery when you go to bed with another. Read your bibles and you'll see it's crystal clear other than death there is no getting away from the truth and meaning of marriage. Go back and read. As for having someone in my life...my soul mate and I have been married for 29 yrs. I selected this song to be played at our son and future daughter-in-laws reception.

I agree with you. I always thought they'd last, not the least because the country music biz always talked of V & J as a couple truly in love. They seemed to give the impression of commitment more than most Nashville couples. And of course, with the subject matter of the song and Janice's appearance in the video, it just seems that much more bittersweet and sad that it didn't work out, even if they're now happier apart. I feel a pang when I watch this video now too.
