They also make them for ATV and other smaller vehicles. But you are correct- they are expensive.  The last I checked something like 22 grand for a set like in this video... About 6 grand for an ATV.

Also, unless Mattrax has changed something, top speed is recommended at 45 mph.

Seems to me on snow that compacted, a 2wd import would get around just fine. Looks cool, but no practical advantage over large chained tires. And you don't have to trailer a wheeled vehicle to the snow. Besides the $14,000+ you put into the tracks, could have put a nice power package and tranny into that Ford. But I guess when you have more money than brains, looks cool.

Yes and no. Mattracks is the only company that makes tank treads for large trucks (mattracks 175 series) like the F350, plus I recognize the truck from the discovery channel and they said it was indeed Mattracks 175 series for trucks up to 15000 lbs GVWR.
