Much better version than the original. I saw Freddie in the late '70's & was bowled over by his talent. I honestly think he should have been a lot more successful (especially when you hear a lot of the crap that is supposed to pass as music!)

Freddie played once a month in 'Leo Conways' in Castlecomer during the last ;
'great depression' of the eighties! The venue only held 100 and tickets were like gold dust! Great man and still sounds as good today

I love Warren Zevon's version.
But this takes the number 1 spot
and then it's Warrens version to me.
Extremely hard to choose which is better though.
