  • no words!! This presentation....backed by Iqbal's mesmerising Kalam traps you somewhere between You n your Soul!

  • By the way, I am from Lahore as well!

  • @BasharzPoetryAlbum Kassi keh Lahour na dideh ast, aknoon be donya na omadeh ast... in farsi it means, one who has not seen Lahour, has not yet been given birth...lol.. is it ttrue though??

  • @HomayunShirzadeh I think once it was true because Lahore has always been a very signicant city in the Indian sub-continent; infact it has been considered a doorway, in the past, for all the subcontinent to accept or reject a trend. It has also been one of the favourite abodes for quite a few emporers, saints etc in the past. Secondly, the people of Lahore have always been known for their liveliness, celebrations and are good hosts. Alas! Hard core commercialism has almost destroyed all of that.

  • @HomayunShirzadeh Still the Lahorites are trying their best to stay true to their traditions :). You've never been to Lahore?

  • @HomayunShirzadeh Very Right :-)

  • This is probably one of the best works I've seen on Iqbal's Kalam. Excellent selection of pictures and great voice! Please do more Urdu work as well :)

  • @BasharzPoetryAlbum thanks for your comments. Will do more Ordu, but there is a striking difference in Ordu and Farsi pronounciation...

  • @HomayunShirzadeh Your Urdu pronunciation is very exotic. We really like it.

  • Excellent Masha Allah!

  • @takingside Thanks for your comments

  • That was so penetrating, I can't say it in words. Love of Allah. When the heart is shackled in it, is it liberated.

    Humayun S Bhatty

  • @veiledcritic YES it is the love of Allah which is the main theme..

  • اقبال تجھے سلام

  • @stylenextt درست گفتید برادرم

  • My dear Hamanyu,

intoxicating. I am deeply impressed by the selection of background pictures, music and mesmerizing voice, all of which so much correspond to the mood of the poetry.

  • Dear Sir: Thanks for appreciating the effort. I realized this 10 years after my basic medical training that it is NOT the GABA channels of the post synaptic neuron which everything revolves around, it rather is the slow Ca channels of the heart which compose the cosmic dance.

  • can you tell me where did u get the 1st stanza from ? please

  • Thanks for your comments Tanvir. The first stanza is from MIR taqi MIR...

  • In this poem Allama is Explaining it very beautifully that, Human heart is not just a clot of meat ( flash ), but it's center and home of love with Allah. Actually here what Heart really mean is "Love".

This poem was written in his early age, and later on his whole work was base on Heart ( love ) :)

Great presentation Homayun brother. May Allah Bless you and give may Allah give us strength to understand this message of love. Ameen !
