@paulspeer1 Yep, it was just a bad day in YouTubistan; works fine now. Can't believe you're giving this song away, though. You a generous guy there, Paul. Keep up the good work. You've got decades worth of fans out there.
Paul, This is one great guitar jam, it has soo much power
it is really difficult to put into words, but all of your
sounds are like that. I remember the first piece of your music I heard,Festival in Terrisini from Oculus, I was hooked on your sound. I am a visual artist myself and this song reminds me of so many things Storms,
cattle drives, migrations, and the creation of the universe.
@pupok45 Thanks very much, Seadog. Even though I've been making records for a long time, I got a lot of new fans from Festival in Terrasini. Seems to have been the "hit" from the Oculus album.
Great piece of music, Paul ! You know how much I love your guitar playing and this one is no exception. Looking forward to more, so keep them coming :-)
You asked for honest feedback Paul.I'm a big fan of electronic music;and the guitar playing is second to none.
The visuals remind me of the days of tripping:the days when you'd go to festivals and hear music as good as this. This track grows on you:thanks for uploading this.
@tukspeacepipes I appreciate your comments, Tuks. Even though the visuals come from the iTunes visualizer, I think they work pretty well. I'm going to post more new music and will likely use the visualizer again so there is something to look at.
Excellent song. It's like going on a journey... and coming back changed for the better. It's a song you want to hear over and over it's that good. You have a
This is totally techno cool. I just have to point out that it does have the same theme as "Allegro/985" from the "Natural States" disc. I do love 'em both.
Awesome, as usual. I agree with several other posts: your guitar work is so powerful, yet not assaulting or harsh. I love electronic music, and I love guitar. This is the best of both -- as is a lot of your other works.
@christel2846 I'm really glad you like it, Christel... thanks. Actually, rather than an album, I'm experimenting at this time with music I might not do in the context of an album. This is the first of a series of singles I'm going to put out in the world and see what sticks on the wall, so to speak.
@BocaFriend Thanks so much, Terry. There is a lot of electronica I like but it rarely has guitar so I wanted to do piece based around keyboard textures and sampled percussion with my style of guitar on top.
<3 <3 <3 Love the music and your did a good job with the iTunes visualizer. :)

@HapyJac Good ear, Jac! Not exactly the same theme but I did base this piece on the elements I like most in Allegro/985.
paulspeer1 1 year ago
@paulspeer1 Those elements are what make it so good. No wonder I like it so much.

Paul...I dig it. Love the guitar riff in it. I especially like the harmonizing at 02:14 and the muted harmonizing at 03:56 Nice and clean!

Paul, I couldn't love it more! Not since your guitar work
on Krakatoa have I been so engrossed in the entire
sound field you cultivate. I don't know an artist who
can accomplish such a powerfully hypnotic rhythm yet
consistently remain far from boring repetition or monotonous
styling. Your guitar is so cool without ever assaulting
the ears with harshness. Unbelievably cool. And I will
buy this track the minute you release it! Favorited! ~T
