Yeah, I don't know how to fix that. I just got a new laptop and I'm using the webcam. It's all new too me! Any suggestions?

It depends, if it's a Macbook then I don't know, but if it's a Vista laptop, then next to the time in the bottom right corner is the volume icon. Right-click on it, then click on "Recording devices". A sound window will pop open, your webcam mic should be listed. Double-click on it to open a properties window. In that window, click the levels tab at the top and there will be a bar to adjust the mic volume. Hope that helps. There may also be a Custom tab next to it that might help as well.
