  • This music can solve war

  • What a great place to live. :)

  • Sonic X-treme

  • This is probably the only song I find superior to the American soundtrack. Mainly because it's actually music and nice on the drums.

  • @TheStolken Me too gamer! I like how it was used in the first Sonic Xtreme alpha build too.

  • Dude, You need to extend this.

  • damn you guys need to listen to miracle little blue planet it's the most peaceful sonic CD although it's remix but it's peaceful

  • they have this in the engine demonstration for sonic x-Treme

  • @44automag117 there were going to use it for Jade Gulley

  • @TheJeli125 we dont know that

  • @TheJeli125

Not really. They were only using this song as a placeholder, because the soundtrack for Sonic X-Treme hadn't been composed yet.

  • Japense

    Japense

    Japense

  • Thumbs up if you like Sonic X-Treme !!!

  • damn, why doesn't this just play forever...

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again- This fits Palmtree Panic perfectly.

  • @KawaiiDesuNekoBCSK Not Really it fits Quartz Quadrant Good Future :D!

  • This music is beautiful.

  • Wow this music was used for Sonic X-treme too bad it never came out

  • You guys should watch me play this on the piano !! Absolutely beautiful ! I love this song <3 It's my latest video . Go check it out on my channel !

  • Holy tits this is soooo sickkkk

  • For some reason I cry when hearing this song.

  • @TheRedPie I've just searched 'jade gully' and you are correct. Or Jade gully is this, one of the sonic games reused the track from the other

  • Nice music =)

I just don't know what instrument is playing at 0:12.

  • @shadow524951 it's probably a synthesizer or a keyboard of some sorts. they used a lot of these in the japanese. if not, some kind of horn.

  • OMG Sonic X-treme theme!!! O__O

  • @Shr00b sega of america copy this theme for sonic x-treme

  • @SuperBurrito69

Yup. It's a shame that Sega of Japan were bitching so much about giving them the NiGHTS' engine for this game.. This would have been a great game for the saturn, and what we get is that abomination of shit that is Sonic 3D Blast. xD

  • i get such 90's feeling from this song :D

  • @TheRedPie

It was the tech demo for Jade Gully but really its from this game

  • THIS SONG IS FUCKIN AMAZING

  • After listening to all 50+ Sonic CD tracks for the past 2 hours, I think this is my favorite of them all

  • sonic cd ftw!

  • This music is happiness! It's the embodiment for what EVERY sick little thing on this planet desires.

  • Sonic EXTREME!

  • Reminds me of that time when I was in this place, but it looked so decolate from ontop of one of the many shipping containers, but the awe inspiring desolate, the kind that made you think you owned the world...Ahh...Gooooood times.

  • Sounds more like a remix of stardust speedway's good future (or rather, that song sounds like it belongs in quartz quadrant).

  • Man, those guys doing the music at Sega played one epic accordion...

  • this song sounds like going to a meadow of never-ending happiness.

  • @megakiller36 me i thought it was just a sunny day in paris x3

  • i feel like skipping in a meadow for some reason..

  • beautiful... ;O

  • I think this doesn't fit the mine theme of Quartz Quadrant, more of a meadow with flowers and stuff. It DOES capture the "goodness" of the future.

  • This song should play in a movie when someone goes to Paris for the first time.

  • @troysson81 Or can play this song during a romantic occasions in a restaurant.

  • @LatiosnLatias02:

    In France.

  • @troysson81 Yeah.

  • This sounds like something you would hear in a Kirby game.

  • True, but Japanese Sonic CD is the original one directed by Naoto Oshima himself!! :)

  • Japanese Sonic CD is a masterpiece!

  • Naw man both are masterpieces dawg!!

  • Hey! This also played during the "Jade Gully" stage for Sonic X-treme!

  • It feels like your going though a white sand beach with clear water, pure clouds, nobodies there... Its just you...

  • there was a vid on sonic x-treme prototype and it played this exact music

  • It does.

  • Because Youtube users are sensitive and easily offended by compliments.

    I know, it's weird. D:

  • @StreakXD You deserve a medal <3

  • i feel like im looking at the Savannah im kenya i think

  • This wouldn't be an out of place song in Nights. 90's Sega music is incredible.

From peaceful beautiful music like this, to wild, fast, insane music like MM BF.

  • Oops, QQ. How did I mess that one up saying MM?

  • I totally agree, the 90s gaming music was awesome. They are getting harder to find online but when a game soundtrack is found it's like a gem.

  • Thank you Galactic Bass from Wii Music making it so dreamy :)

  • i'd be looking at the sun setting down on the sky while i listen to this

  • Sounds like it snowing out side lol

  • This one sounds so pretty :)

  • ive told myself not to comment everything but holy..this stages music is also so good it makes me get tears in my eyes (consider we bought this like 15years ago..it was almost not possible then..

  • I agree, it's a beautiful track. You can almost see a huge cavern full of sparking, colourful gems preserved for everyone to enjoy, thanks to Sonic. In the bad future, it sounds like the gems are all being hammered out from the walls (that's also a very good track =) )

  • egman is gone and the quarts have matured and grown

  • this song is heavenly like stardust speedway good future. this is the heavenly song to listen to at day and stardust speedway good future is the heavenly song to listen to at night.

  • damn straight they are, i downloaded them

  • hmmm it to me kinda sounds like stardust speedway through the first part and some through out the whole thing.

(the japanese virsion of stardust speedway) btw

  • I just realized that the floor in the picture there are the freezies from the original mario brothers arcade game turned up side down

  • No they are Crystals hence the name of the zone

    Freezies were annoying in Brawl

  • you dont have to be soo literal about it. i was just pointing out something i saw?

  • sorry you're right they do look like freezies

    and glass things

  • holy crap >_>. I just realized that this was in the Sonic Xtreme demo/beta. Mind=blown.

  • This music is rad

  • Indeed!

  • It's so nice it suited Jade Gully in Xtreme but then it got cancelled

  • hey wasnt this in this in sonic-X-treme?

  • Yeh why they cancelled it I'll never know

  • The second part of the present music had this nature, outdoor feel to it, and it was a good idea to make that as the good future music. The loud violin kind of startled me, but it's not that big of a deal.

  • It has that Nights into Dreams kind of feeling

  • I know it suits Spring Valley or Splash Garden

  • In the good future, all the mining has stopped and Robotnik is driven away from this peaceful area so the crystals can again sparkle and be undisturbed by humans.

  • Great point

    I HATE ROBOTNIK

  • Now there's a great summary of the good future! ^_^

    (replied to saturnmason)

  • This music is better then the shit on radio.

  • I totally agree with you. :)

  • @richter3456 All day!!!

  • I like that crystaline glass-breaking sound effect in this song. Where do they get all these sounds that I want?

  • they probably have very expensive software/synthesizers.

  • Perhaps a Korg O1W? I got to play with a Korg X5DR module in my Electronic Synthesizer class and I learned it had sounds from the O1W

  • google is your friend

  • Ahhh. This is my favourite song IN THE ENTIRE GAME. It's so nice, and makes me feel like I actually acomplished something in playing through Quartz Quadrant Zone.

  • SONG IZ NCIE I CAN DANCE 2 DIS

  • I somehow see a heroic figure, whos face you cant see with a beautiful gleaming ray of sunlight behind him, a hero to stop all the fighting, and to save an already dieing planet... O sorry I got a bit carried away...my apologiez everyone!

  • Lol wow dude datz great

  • The best song on the entire soundtrack. No comparison. I love this song!

  • this song is the best!

  • Brings back childhood memories

  • This makes me think of a fresh, clean meadow freshly blooming in early spiring...

  • This song is amazing! I wish they had this one in the US Sonic CD. its so beautiful :]

  • this almost sound like sum Stardust Speed (G-Mix) an bit

  • They should of put this song in Brawl. This song is purely amazing.

  • all they put is fuckin sonic boom

  • Awesome song =D

  • I love this song, I have the Sonic X-Treme 718 beta and it has this song on it. This BGM just fits the sonic x-treme level because its a big open field with a river and this song makes you think about that

  • it does doesnt it?

  • Makes you feel like your in a garden doesn't it?

  • OMG this is in sonic xtreme(yes i know that was unreleased to public in general).

  • LOL, did you know that BGM from the unreleased Sonic Xtreme actually reused the Japanese version of Quartz Quadrant (Good Future so......

  • yes...

  • Does anyone know why this song was used by Sega as the Jade Gully Zone song in Sonic X-Treme?

  • They needed a backing track, so they just used what they had, meaning that someone over at STI liked the song as much as we do. It would've been replaced with something original in the final.

  • May be because Sean Criss loved it and wanted it to put in in Jade Gully for the BGM!

  • @n00neimp0rtant

because they liked the song to maybe i have no idea. :D

  • I love this song!

  • sonic rules.the game is swesome.the japanese version of the song is better than the u.s. version.

  • O, Thats cool.

  • i thought the signup age was supposed to be 13.

  • umm, 14?

  • 10?

  • 105?11?

  • One of my favorite songs!

  • I love this song, but the violin scares me a little.

  • love this song

  • I have the japanese version of this game on an emulator. This is one of my favorite songs. I especially love 00:24-00:43.

  • if you have the emulator then where did you download the japanese rom at? please reply back i cant find it anywhere!

  • get beta 920.

it has the jp soundtrack completely intace with the us gameplay, and it was leaked by the staff.

    i think.

  • But when you find it on the internet, it doesn't come with the soundtrack.

  • This makes me glad I live in England, I own this game and can never get enough of its superior soundtrack. I do like the American versions too but these ones are best

  • This is one of my favorite tracks! The japanese Collision Chaos also is a fav of mine.

  • man, why did sega of america have to be stupid?

  • Actually, eevee, I find a lot of people do like the american sound track. This works well, too, however.

  • yay

  • Beautiful!

  • OK THIS IS ALSO MY FAVORITE!!!!

  • love this song! keep em coming
