  • ahhheee! not even a year ago! yessssss! holy m,o!

  • seeing them tomorrow at a festival, totally forgot about these dudes

  • yea i was there too, Gin Blossoms rocked!!!!

  • I love passion

  • I did several tours with these guys in the 90's. They are talented beyond words (not just the Johns but the Dans and everyone else) and Flans is one real dude. He actually introduced me to the Pastrami Sandwich with French Fries and Cole Slaw on top in Pittsburgh. It was a pleasure to watch a TMBG show every night.

  • It's odd to think of a band like them being as old as they are now. ..but I think they have long been aware of the interest in this idea of aging. They have many songs about old or dying people. I also remember seeing a t-shirt or sticker featuring them performing in wheelchairs in 2050 or something.

  • Poor Flansy, just not his day.

  • arent they sorta tired of playin this song?

like dont play with as much enthusiasm as they used to?

  • I don't think they're tired of playing this song.

John Linell is doing most of the work.

If you notice John Flansburgh goes off to the left and switches guitars. But he's having problems with the second guitar and goes off to the left again.

I think both guitars were out of tune.

  • He only plays a few notes so you can actually tell when he tries to play and it sounds horrible.

  • They certainly do a good job of hiding it then.

  • Disagree.

Virtually every live show they do, this song makes an appearance. And this band has such a vast catalog, nobody in their hyper-dedicated audience would miss it too much. They know it's a crowd-pleaser, and probably their finest song. (I personally consider it THE perfect pop song). I'm not saying they still love showing it off as much as they did in '90, but they're musicians and performers. It's their hit. They want people to have a ball. It's not un-medicated root canal.

  • Wow, nice video.

Q, I just go through your videos sometimes and watch a bunch of TMBG stuff. XD

  • I love the "my story's INFINITE" thing.

"Flansburgh, we need you out here! Kurt, take over!"

  • Marty really likes that shirt.

  • he must have alot of them, he wore this at alot of shows i been to

  • Lol he wore it to my show too, and I see it in a lot of pictures.

Gotta love Marty. If I get famous I'm gonna wear the same shirt to all my concerts.

  • who do i take my clothing style from , i pretty much play every non brass instrument on that stage

  • He also really like Homestar Runner if he's always rockin' the Coach Z shirt xD
