i tell ya, watching the movie and hearing this song is like a spiritual journey...you end up feeling sad, but oh so peaceful and despite having tears on your face inside you feel truly happy and calm..that's the way I'd always like to feel everyday. i know is unrealistic but i can't help but want to feel like that, as at least i wouldn't feel weighted down by this world in all its corruption and misery..

I agree that the others are just too happy. Part of what made the first one great is the emotion in the whole movie. When Littlefoot's mother died you just feel an overwhelming amount of sadness for him. Then on his journey to find the Great Valley he finds his friends and starts getting his hope back. None of these kids movies has any of that anymore. It's just sugary sweet nonsense.
