@philosageify Kind of. That was my mindset for a while, when I recorded this video. But skin color does actually correlate with ancestry, and different populations can actually be genetically different. For example, people of African descent have higher incidence of Sickle Cell. There's nothing INHERENTLY different about races, but race can correlate to a distinct genetic group.

So... in some cases, race actually can be meaningful. But it's becoming increasingly meaningless; I try to ignore it.

I live in Atlanta, and I've seen you perform. After watching this, I am sure I will never support you again. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, but calling an entire group of people "Bitch" because of their beliefs, and insulting their god gives me the impression you are a hateful person. Slam poetry is about raising Consciousness, right? Awareness and your voice in this song are mutually exclusive. I wish you the best.

@Greyedable I'm sorry you feel that way. To clarify, though, I do not hate believers. I imagine it would be extraordinarily difficult for me to live even my day-to-day life if I did. My issue is with religious belief, which I consider - besides being false and unnecessary - an affront to intellectualism and rationality.

@kkk777able First and foremost, I had to read that three times to get absolutely any coherent meaning out of it. Second, you can't scare non-believers into believing. Any god that is omniscient would know whether you were a true believer or just faking it. That defeats the purpose of believing simply because you're scared not to - that would be "bearing false witness" and completely immoral - and it's typically called "Pascal's Wager" - look it up.
