Apparently I have the shittiest graphics card ever because whenever I try to play the demo, it gets to the swimming part and I cant do anything else because all I see is the fire, everything else is black, and little white boxes like I have no models or materials for the game. I'm getting a GeForce GTX 295 soon :D
It's not only about the card,i think a gtx 295 isn't a very good idea,i mean it makes so many noise,it's expensive ... A HD 4850 or something like that would be a better idea . Think too about your memory and processor .
Well a GTX295 is a bit overkill for bioshock if you ask me, I was able to play it running quite well on a Core 2 Duo, Geforce 7900 and 2 Gigs memory, and it even ran not that badly on my older Single Core 3.0 GHZ, Geforce 6800, and 1 Gig memory.
I think the Geforce 8 series is fine for it, as well as a decent CPU and some memory.
I love Bioshock's atmosphere. Create a city only for those who are prodigenous and intellectual, away from the poor, weak, religion and the government. Of course, madness will ensue. My kind of story, every man for himself.

Eve's Garden is found in Fort Frolic, where you encounter Sander Cohen.

Before you yell and cry about this you should realize this game takes place in the 1960's, not today. Besides it is a game, or an adaptation of the reality back then. The intro to this game is the most interesting and well thought-out game I have ever played. Don't think about the things they do or say too much in this game, because it is all just for entertainment.

Can't figure out what's wrong - I can't get the correct ambient voices to play during the introduction sequence - when I install it I hear Dr. Steinman's voice instead of the "something's coming" voices. Frusterating...

He's a polarizing figure, not someone you can sum up with a simple word like Republican or Democract. He's somewhere in the middle, and his city takes Objectivism to its logical conclusion. Not everyone in society can be an elite, "someone has to scrub the toilets" as Fontaine said.

I do not believe that his society would have succeeded, but not because it was inherently flawed. It failed, in part because people could not leave. Those who may have left when they became dissatisfied could not. I will soon play it and possibly revise my opinion.

I love how they handled the plane crash. Most other people would have had some great big graphics-heavy wow-sequence with hundreds of explosions and it would've been boring.
This is subtle and powerful.
