  • While im painting my nails, my nail polish keeps building up on the brush on the plastic thingy. I think that makes the polish thick, how do i avoid that?

  • @xxchuletiitaxx I've never had that problem but if your polish starts to get thick just use some polish thinner =)

  • Do u need to use a orange stick. Or can u use a scewer or tooth pick

  • @eggy614 anything with a fine point will work =)

  • Oh my gosh I SUCK at nail marbling. And this one is sooo pretty! I wish I could actually do it, lmao believe me I have tried! Some of my friends can do this though, so maybe I'll beg them to do it...

  • Do u have to make a pattern?

  • @Emilieluvsu1 no, you can dip into the plain bullseye =)

  • im biting my nails while watching this...

  • Your nails are so long, but yet theyre so pretty with marble!

  • are those your real nails!there sooooooo long!

  • @willcvideo7 yes, my nails are natural =)

  • hi, i have just recently started biting my nails.and i am stopping now. my nails are way too short, and my cuticles have bled and are dry. what should i do?

  • @boopydad I've never been a nail biter, but I'd just recommend keeping your cuticles well moisturized & take good care of them until they heal =)

  • i tried this but if spread nor let me do a design. HELP!!!!!

  • @peaceluvbiebs123 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • you better than ilovemylongnails.^-^

  • plz check out my channel and post on my channel what your think!! Btw i love your vids! I am a subscriber and i think that this is the best thing i have subscribed too!

  • @SimpleLittlePleasures when are you going to make another water marble

  • @kianacutie2 when I have time & am feeling better =)

  • What kind of nail polish do u use?

  • @macmoe10 the colors are all listed in the information box =)

  • Are u able to use a pencil

  • @FolkloricoMexicaPro anything with a fine point will work =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ive tried to do the marble nails but it will not work mind if i post the video to show that it doesnt work ? what is wrong that im doing?

  • @FolkloricoMexicaPro Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. • I tried this it wuz fun nd turned out great thx

  • This is tooooooooo beautiful!!!

  • what exactly is an orange stick? where can u get one? and can u use toothpick instead?

  • @PikaPikaSmiles an orange stick is a wooden manicure tool, basically a long pointy stick like a big toothpick – you can use anything with a fine point =) they’re available most places that sell polish, usually stocked near the files & clippers

  • This is sooo cute, I love the bright colors :)

  • ok...so is that water in the cup???

  • @sexi2rude1 yes - room temperature filtered water =)

  • great job...my requests is that you perform a green vid thanx! :)

  • @FeirceNails check out my extreme green marble - part of the addicted to color series =)

  • how cool! p.s.:you use very much the word "and" :)). anyway, i LOVE ur videos!

  • Water marbling

  • cool

  • So, does it matter what kind of nail polish you use? Because some people say it doesn't and some people say it does. And if not, what brand do you recomend for the first time and I want it neon.?

  • @TheSinger187 it does matter, but there really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well – the colors I use are always listed in the information box. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • Pretty (:

  • This is so bright and colourful a great look for summer

  • ok , thank you , i tried it again today & it worked out real good , i wish i could do it on my toes , lol (:

  • Is the polish dry when you take your finger out?

  • @MsARi32 It’s mostly dry within a few minutes, then I use a quick-drying top coat =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ok thanks! (:

  • Ok they colors go in the water fine , but when i dip my nail in then clean up around it & take my nail out , my nail is really thick & stickey , what am I doing wrong?

  • @tarawelch123 I think it sounds like you are using a little too much polish - try using a few less drops. The layer in the water should be very thin =)

  • @ThePadaka sorry but I have no idea what stores are in the UK =)

  • sorry i should'nt of asked! Good answer but!

  • i love marble nail polish

  • wait i feel sp stupid but where do u get the china glaze colors??? how much r they?

  • @harukomt012 the price is going to depend where you get them - they're available at sallys, ulta & online =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues not always true sometimes it depend on the color sometimes

  • do we have to put a top coat after we have done our nails?

  • @ameliarox664 I always recommend a top coat to dry faster & protect your design =)

  • i luv ur vidz soo much

  • are they your real nails ? They seem so strong !

  • @mysticmoonnails yes, my nails are natural =)

  • @mysticmoonnails yes they r

  • wat do u mean by saying water room tempure ?????

  • @ilikeallsongs not hot, not cold - the same temp as the room

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ohh ok thanxxx oxox

  • do you only do marble nil art?? :P

  • @MisoKumaBear no - you can see other things on my main channel & blog =)

  • Did anyone else hear that loud pitch beeping in the background?!

  • ur nails are to long. im grossed out now..

  • @lyricsmaster1100 if you don't like then don't look =P

  • do you put tape on just your finger, or your nail and finger? p.s. thats really cool! :)

  • @tiggerboo11121 just around the nail =)

  • Can u usea pencil instead of the stick?

  • @Gleebud2011 anything with a fine point will work =)

  • you are amazing

  • do u need a spechel kind of nail plosh to do it

  • @PrincessCharityJean you can use any brand of polish, but not every color works =)

  • what is filtere water is it normal water or not????????????????

  • @daprettyjasmin it's water with the impurities removed - I get mine from a Brita pitcher =)

  • waaaaaaaauw:$

  • how long does it take to grow out your nails that long?

  • @2manythings2say0711 it's going to vary for everyone, I pretty much maintain mine long but they grow around 1mm/week =)

  • hi, i tried doing the marbling to my little sisters nails. your video really hepled show me how to do it (after many explainations from my friends ;] )

but when i tried it, as i used the toothpick to gather up excess nail polish i noticed that the polist on her nail started bleeding into the water, and when she took her nail out, it was just a horrible mess...any thoughts?

  • @draculaura600 I've never had that exact problem - was the base color fully dry? Otherwise the only thing I can think is that you may have used too many drops of polish, making too thick of a layer of polish on the nail =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thank you very much

  • Hi, i keep trying over and over again, and my nail polish either drops to the bottom in the ball, or if it does spread, then it dries on top instantly.

  • @soapiedoap23 some polish sinks because it’s too dense, other times it is from dripping it from too high up, try to stay close to the surface of the water =) also every polish dries at a different speed & those that dry fast just aren't very good for marbling - if you can't work any quicker then you have to find colors that dry slower. and make sure there's not a fan or anything creating a draft on the water as that can make the polish dry faster

  • i'm definitely trying this RIGHT NOW. if the first hand goes well, i'll do a response video.

  • @RosieRestricted Didn't it work out right? c;

  • Hi i have a thing 2 tell u does the nail marble only works on chinaglase? beacuse i tryed it but it was not china glase it was some other thing but wen i sticked my thum in i came out driping and i fallowed all the steps that ur said but i didnt work plz help thank you ps: I LOVE UR NAILS :D

  • @Angelicious521 you can use any brand of polish, but not every color works =) I think it sounds like you are using a little too much polish - try using a few less drops. The layer in the water should be very thin

  • Whenever I try this it doesn't work and I waste nailpolish trying it. :(

  • @gomar1000 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • iv tired your looks soo many times.. i just cant seem to get it right.. your actually amazing !!! im soo jealous! love your vids !!

  • @StunniinLJstyle what problem are you having?

  • i love ur videos i love the colors u have . were do u get the china glaze ?

  • @Fashion3303 it's available at Sallys, Ulta & online =)

  • heey i love your nail tutorials and purplemoicapies is a new you tube channel so we were wondering if we could get like a little shout out to get the word out! also check out our channel thanks! <3

  • @purplemonicapies sorry but I get too many requests so I don't do random shout outs, only to people that I actually know =)

  • does the china glaze collection work best?

  • @miss0pj0me There really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well – the colors I use are always listed in the information box. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • thank you for the tips i will try it again soon i have done it on cookies its awesome!

  • mine never work any tips? i have tryed many times and they just dont work i have tryed all kinds of stuff... if you can give me any tips thank you

  • @kittinlover2 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • do i use filtered water, tap water? which one?

  • @Rollsters1234 I always use room temperature filtered water from a Brita pitcher =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Thanks but just one more thing... sorry but how com e only some nail polishes work??? XDDD

  • @Rollsters1234 it just has to do with the formula - some are too dense & sink, some dry too fast, some are too sheer, some just won't spread even in filtered water

  • how could i avoid water drops changing the appearance of the colors??

  • @toxikflow13 if they won't drip off, you can use the corner of a paper towel to absorb them =)

  • i have tryed this many times but it never works for me:(

  • @misskittypickle Are you using filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • @misskittypickle i find that when i use polishes with any shimmer at all it doesnt work, that could be it? or if the water is too cold, hope that helps

  • @glitterchick91 thanks ill try that!!

  • When i do mine it dosent spread D;

  • @littleblushes Are you using filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • I tried it and I can't quite get the polish to ring out so big and designing the polish takes the entire bulls-eye with the needle.

  • @sqmonkeys888 are you using filtered water? It sounds like the polish is starting to dry – you either have to work faster or find colors that dry slower =)

  • sexy nails much i love em girl!

  • sexy nails much i loveem! (L)

  • i love it

i just did it today looka so good thank you

  • hi would u show pics on ur feet?

  • @palpatine1975 I don't plan on doing any vids

  • hi can i know wats the address for your blog? thnks!! wanna see ur feet..

  • @palpatine1975 there's a link in the information box

  • lol polish surgury

  • Does the water marbe work on short nails? I want to do this SO bad but I have the stubiest nails you will ever see. Hoe long is the shortest they could be? HELP!

  • @MrDelaney713 if you have short nails you just get less of the design, so it's very important where you dip your nail - check out my short nails marble with my mom for hand model for some tips =)

  • do you suggest a specific kind of nail polish?

  • @rachelroxable no - You can use any brand of polish, but not every color works =)

  • Water has to be room temperature I believe that's why some of u r having problems like the polish sinks or doesn't spread. :)

  • WOW! All your nails are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried and it works!!! I am starting to color my nails!!! Question: could it work on toes and do you think you could try?

  • @eimme1 yes - there have been some pics posted to my facebook page although I haven't tried it myself =) I don't really do any nail art for my pedicures

  • Beautiful nails!

  • hi do u have long toenails? could u show us? im sure your feet must be sexy..thks!!

  • @palpatine1975 I post pictures of my pedis on my blog but I don't have any plans to start doing vids =)

  • @palpatine1975 lmao what???

  • This looks so pretty on your skin-tone! =)

  • love it

  • those are sum pretty colors

  • apparently,if you put vasaline around your nails then dip your nails in,it prevents it from going all round your fingers:D

  • @mizzmadz123 It's on my to-do list to do a comparison between taping & lotion or vaseline/chapstick, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Aside from the fact that it seems like it would be very messy, several viewers have told me that they can leave a residue in the water that makes it harder to do the next designs, which is why I've stuck with tape so far =)

  • and sometimes d drop of nailpolish sinks in the water!!! :(

  • @shumazo Some polish sinks because it’s too dense, other times it is from dripping it from too high up, try to stay close to the surface of the water =)

  • when i put nail polish in a bowl of water it does not spread the way your nailpolish does , please help me , it just stays on its place where i drop it !!!!!!!

  • @shumazo Are you using filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues one more thing = , !!!! my nail polish is kinda thick and dense , do i need a thinner one or can i add water in it , ! + yes i use filtered water !

  • @shumazo I would always suggest thinner over anything else, it actually replaces what's evaporated & doesn't damage the polish =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues oh oke thankyouuu !! xp

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues and can you tell me , from your own experience , which colours actually spread in water and which dont usually spread ?

  • @shumazo The only way to know for any specific color is to try it =) sometimes even colors that each spread on their own don't work well together - you just have to keep trying different colors & different combinations

  • LOL polish surgery :D

  • THIS NEVER WORKS FOR ME);

but this is amazing your videos are good!

  • Can yu use a chopstick?

  • @PopPrincessxox101 anything with a point at the end. so yes chopsticks will work

  • @PopPrincessxox101 anything with a fine point will work, I'm not sure most chopsticks are quite sharp enough =)

  • Where can you get an orange stick?

  • @mileycyros They’re available most places that sell polish, usually stocked near the files & clippers =)

  • @mileycyros you don't necessary need a orange stick, anything pointy or sharp will work. just like a needle or any other nail tools.

  • amazing :)

  • can you do water marble on your toes?

  • @Roseline225 yes, although I haven't tried it myself =)

  • do u put the scotch tape on ur nails or just arround your skin

  • @beautifulgirl34325 just around the nail, to keep the polish off my skin - you can check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)

  • how do you get rid of the access nail what do you use to get rid of it?:) xx

  • @welovejadensmith123 in the water just clean it up with the orange stick - around the nail just clean up with a small brush dipped in acetone =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thanks,x

  • @simplelittlepleasures I have really long nails that are pretty strong and I am very excited to try this look:)

  • ~i love sally's nail polish~

  • ur nails r super long. is it harder with longer or shorter nails?

  • @11kellbell it's not really harder with either, just different - longer nails of course give more room for the design =)

  • is that your your nails???

  • @zzzzjenny yes =)
