I was greatly looking forward to this series on the Discovery Channel, I just can't enjoy Oprah's voiceover. Her abrasive tone, forced humor, and stilted script constantly distract me.  I have nothing against Oprah, but this is a terrible choice of voice to put with these perfectly gorgeous films. Really ruins it for me, and the Discovery Channel is by far my favorite channel. Morgan Freeman? A perfect fit, very gentle and unimposing. Oprah should stick to hollering at studio audiences.

true, but when you think about it evolution is basically change right? most likely the ancestors of the sengi were adapted to their terrain and as the years went by, obviously the earth was changing, so in order to survive from their predators (who were most likely changing too, to adapt the new land) had to change as well. they had to evolve into what they are now which obviously takes years and not just a real quick wake up call
