  • Can you tell me the tools you used too? :D

  • tablet or mouse?

  • Can you tell what tools you use to: 1) round your edges so well and 2) how do you make your highlights and shadows blend in together so well. Ty, peace

  • @fervorz Ummm You ask the question well. Check your inbox for detail articles for them answers. ;-)

  • @fervorz I'd like to know that myself as well.

  • Cheers, sorry

  • Hehe great videos!

You say 'bye-bye" the same like Feng Zhu :)

    You know him?

    Cheets

  • @snowface27 He is a senior artist for NCsoft back then in 2004, I was there. Yes I met him.

  • I think it's amazing that you barely erase anything you do. Like the original lineart. It's still there, just underneath all that coloured in area...it's amazing.

  • @ThaDudesAvlogger LOL, trick? I paint over instead of erase. faster for concepting. Thanks and cheers!

  • good masterpeace

  • did you visit a school for art or did you just have that tallent ?! my art teacher told me i could go to an art school what do you think ? :/

  • @abdamit I've work for video games since 2003. Practice.

  • I still don't understand why your site is called idrawgirls. I mean, there's male stuff on there too.

  • @sunset261 LOL

  • @idrawgirls well it's true. The title Idrawgirls makes it seem like some kind of porn site.

  • 5 people play Tibia

  • What program is this?

  • @Ishalleatpotatoes Ps and Gimp

  • hi Xia...What i ve learned so far, is that you re technique is usually to

1)start a sketch2)use multiply or overlay to just splatter in values and/or colours..or use a low opacity normal layer.

3)Clean the values and colours up using high opacity normal layers.

4)Zoom in to each smaller parts and further detail and clean up

    I am i close ? :)

  • @garrette2010 1) Correct drawing, 2) define your value range & color to match value range 4) hard, soft, and lost edges. So yeah pretty close.

  • Hey, can you do one for pencil shading metal? (Im using a 0.5/0.7 Pencil)

  • @wiffleful It will be just as similar process, except the contrast won't be the same. Just build up layer and keep rendering, same different.

  • nice ~ well same as some chick , they look prettier from far distance but once you get close with them ~ yuck ! haha of cos not your picture , i always wanted to colour like that ~ thanks for sharing ~ i will try to colour as what you did it here ~

  • @nickyreno LOL

  • Can anyone tell how to do the reflective effect on pixlr?

  • @Telsyii Check your PM

  • whatever happened to good old paper, pen, and pencil? like every drawing video is computerized...

  • @XGeerOfWarX Do your good old pen and paper create your favorite game "Gear of war"? No, it is digital we professional concept put out. Traditional or digital, same principle applies. I also have tons traditional videos on my channel. Stop bitching or I will kick you out of my channel. peace!

  • You are crazy talented!

  • When i finished i had so many eraser marks on the paper

  • coool

  • what program are you using?¿

  • Gotta go draw ->

  • what program do you use

  • HARDCORE!

  • Do you use a cintiq? looks like your mouse and cursor are seperated

  • You're name is wierd. lol but nice tutorial though.

  • you say its scribbily.. but it looks awesome like that

  • Insane ability

  • practice is the key to success

  • Damn after the video i tried and made a pretty good picture ;) i'm proud xD

    Using tablet :)

  • O_________________O!!

    awesome!!...

  • Thankyou teacher. ^_^

  • What program do you use?

  • You make it look so easy, everytime I watch one of these I go back into painting feeling confident but my results are never amazing. Getting better slowly though.

  • @Krondelo you should try to familiarize with photoshop or the program u use for painting. Test effects, brushes, lights and shadows ... and remeber that do somethings like that ^ takes a long time.

  • i agree.. i watch these videos, i could probably do this stuff.. but i see all this reverting back and forth through layers, making screen type things that then disapear behind the characters, all these different brushes... i wanna see a tutorial where they actually show you which brush they use, how they are doing the techniques.. how to do everything they do, not just watching them draw. i like this tutorial in terms of the general colouring on metal though..

  • so do i please tell me if you ever should find one ;)

  • u know.... i watched my teacher doing this kind of stuff, and ya know what he juz say, it's all just count on art's sense.

  • i think the hard part of painting is that most people don't know how to use photoshop

  • yep, i cant use it

  • 4 real..to hard!!!

  • i dun see how hard is that, u mostly juz use brushes, gradient, erase, laso, layer and brush mode stuff like color dodge... juz get urself a book of photoshop then it settle =o

  • With Photoshop you can just use a single layer with a tablet, and if you know how to paint, you'll do fine, but if you don't have any experience it won't just work. There's more difficulty related to knowing how to paint than to knowing the program.

  • that rite, so call "art sense"

  • @Uploadvidz

nah, its when you really want to draw but dont know WHAT to draw XD

  • @Uploadvidz yea, I GET THAT FEELING ALSO

  • what photoshop is this?

  • what tool do you use most?

  • UN TAN UN TAN UN TAN MOE MOE KYUN

  • You have a very nice technique. I love the roughness of it, it really has character.

  • what the program

  • It's photoshop, GIMP has seperate GUI sections for the interface, he probably mentioned GIMp being a good free porgram, not that he uses it -.-

  • Thanks for the video. I've been trying to find some sort of example for painting metals in computer programs.

  • do you use the pencil mouse thing or just a regular mouse

  • it's actually not photoshop he said in a couple of his videos that he is using a free program called GIMP i havent checked it out yet for myself but ive heard it is really cool

  • Exactly what i was looking for :D

    Hallow be thy name, brother!

  • Very useful and educative

thanks and blessings for loading such beneficial articles

    uma maheswar nakka

  • what program is this? pm me if anyone knows

  • Kinda obvious that it's photoshop.

  • wrong, it's The GIMP, an open-source program

  • then why does my photoshop look exactly like that?

  • it is Photoshop, (you can tell from the brush window that it isnt Gimp)

  • i really like the painterly look to your pieces... thats really unique w/ digital work... very rarely done, but very interesting.

  • real nice i wish u would put color on it and finish some more of these

  • visit his website?
