JCB means "Joseph Cyril Bamford" he is the man that started off the business of building diggers,he started off building small trailers,then he went into building diggers,and bulldozer units with tracks,other people some times refer to his machines as " jobs completely bollixed" because at one time his machines use to break down a lot,the hydraulics at one time were shitand construction workers would be off work for days since they depended so heavily on his machinery.
