Very poor coverage of early Metallica.

Mustaine was basically creating some of the heaviest leads and riffs, spider chords, revolutionary sounds that they had to put him in for writing credits on a number of songs on Kill Em All and Ride The Lightning (Where the fuck is Ride The Lightning in this documentary?)...Metallica was still using his material into the second album. While it was settled out of court Mustaine also should of had writing credits on Leper Messiah and Disposable Heroes.

@ArchaicUnknownHD Go read the book "Metallica 1981-83 The Club Days". Mustaine may not have been a founding member but it was just a Drummer and an average rhythm guitarist before Dave stepped in and actually helped James quite alot.

Don't believe everything you read though, in the book it's mainly photo-graphical, you can tell who had the big fucking balls in the band and which cunts were wearing spandex.

He may not have been an actual founding member, but he did push Metallica into the direction which led to "Ride the Lightning" "Master of Puppets" and the Justice album. It's pretty safe to say that without Mustaine, Metallica wouldn't be where they are now.
