  • Thanx for the info greatly appreciated

  • GOOD JOB ELKA131.... greetings fromPhoenix!!

  • were in the tax returns is the information that is needed to fill out the fafsa

  • @eschele12 the fafsa tells you which lines to use from the tax return

  • @eschele12 there is a few places you want to look on the income tax return, depending on what kind of irs form was used, 1040, 1040a, or 1040EZ. Most commonly there will be a feild on the FAFSA to enter your Adjusted Gross Income, and Income tax amount. AGI on 1040 is line 55, on the 1040a it's line 21. For the income tax amount on 1040 it's line 37. There is also a question regarding income earned from work which on the 1040 is line 7+12+18= total income from work.

  • @eschele12 and yes, it is indicated on the fafsa form, or of you apply online, you want to look at the helpful hints and tips in the box on the right hand side. :)

  • super creative vid. i filled out fafsa for almost 10 years to get my 2 degrees. Lots of work but so worth it...uh...

  • buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • Hey!!!

  • As someone who presents the 411 on FASFA all the time THIS is great. Thanks for putting this together. Good job and good production. Bravo!!

  • awesome video! lays it all out in a fun way! wd!

  • @melisska85 obviously not everyone case is the same. You school determines your award. Your EFC or Expected family Contribution was probably high meaning that either you or your parents make more than enough money for you to fund your own education. After all its Federal Student "Aid" not "pay your complete education" aid is the keyword

  • I'm so glad FAFSA is around, my parents dont make decent money.

This is a POOR MEXICAN..... :D

  • This is hilarious

  • CHARTA ALL DAY! So proud of my school! So creeative! WCHS ALL DAYY!Y!!!

  • Oh, poor little well-to-do kids complaining about not getting any financial aid. My heart bleeds.

  • Screw FAFSA! I am paying for college all by myself, but because my parents are married and making decent money, I don't get hardly anything!! Sorry my parents aren't divorced and have jobs, that means that I don't deserve money for school...gotcha..

  • So students who want to go to school should be at fault because their parents didnt do good? That is a never ending chain.

  • My parents aren't paying for my school at all, so why should how much they make negatively affect how much I get? I don't deserve money just as much as the next person?

  • Your right, screw poor people they dont deserve an education.

  • well why don't you declare yourself Independent then? You can do a dependency override when filling out the FAFSA.

  • this is BS financial aid wont give me more money they only gave me 400.00 for each term what kind of BS is this thats not enough to pay for rest of my classes or my books at all.

  • this is just silly.

but a good kind of silly

    :P

  • Very good!

  • Awesome job. Now do one on the Freak Show!

  • This is an AWESOME Video. Congrats to all who put this together. We have added this to our favorites.

  • EFC is not what you pay. Get it Right or don't even bother makin a video at all.

  • EFC stands for Estimated Family Contribution..So it is an estimate of what you pay...Therefore, they are right!!!!

  • @counselorize How will I know what I'm eligible for?

The information you reported on your FAFSA is used to determine your Expected Family Contribution (EFC), which is calculated by a formula established by law. The EFC is not the amount of money that your family must provide.

    Cost of Attendance

    - EFC

    - Federal Pell Grant Eligibility

     - Aid From Other Sources

    = Remaining Financial Need

  • what is this shit! lol

  • Do you have to be a senior in highschool to start applying for financial aid?

  • My suggestion:

1 ASAP: identify the colleges and universities that are right for you.

2 - Junior year: Visit those colleges and universities that you liked the most.

3 - Senior year: Apply for admission. Submit your FAFSA. Apply for external scholarships.

•Apply for admission as soon as you start your senior year.

•Submit your FAFSA as close as possible to January of your senior year.

•In addition to FAFSA, apply for external scholarships. Worth your effort.

  • Never knew mr. samuels could rap like that lol props to mr. samules and all staff/faculty lol

  • Great Job!!! i'm sure your counselors are thrilled.

  • This is why I love charter! I mean what other school will do this for us?

  • Apostolou looks like one of those 90s thug girls lol , why charta never did stuff like that wen i was there pffft....
