Nevertheless I dont' think I'm a very good dancer and I think the way to knowkedge is neverending...BUT THIS "TEACHER" is one of the worst I've ever seen. I can't understand WHY he try to teach something he can't dance. I admire his courage! ja ja ja

@pitopito64 I started taking classes two years ago with Felix "Pupy" Insua de Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba, and Yoruba Andabo - It has changed my outlook on dance, and life as a whole! Afro, Rumba, and Palo, are some of the most beautiful dances that exist.

Anyway, the greatest inspiration for me is a dancer who is in my opinion one of the best afro/rumba/abakua dancer I've ever seen. his name is Esmil Diaz .What about sharing some movies?

For this teacher :

We appreciate your effort but :

1) you keep on moving hips like a woman

2) In Cuban rumba (That you are TRYING to dance) man move expecially shoulders and chest, NOT hips and bottom

3) you don't dance on clave

4) Try to learn before teaching.Cuba is not so far from Miami so you could go there for a nice trip. If you can't, you could pay a good cuban teacher

It's a shame that Europeans can take what truly belongs to the African Culture and mess it up.

I'm tired of Europeans teaching some of us how they think we should do the dances we created and acting as if it's theirs. This even includes the practice of Yoga. Some damn nerve. If they didn't lie about it's origins it wouldn't be so bad. But this here is horrific.
