  • Wow this is so good. Hit me from nowhere...what a medium !

  • I love this!!!

  • WOW!!! Never heard of Nancy Hollyoway, I've been missing out on a GOOD singer!!!!!

  • amazing

  • MAGNIFICENT ... STUNNING VOCAL PERFORMANCE. .. wow ..

  • Okay so I learned that Nancy Holloway worked with a producer named Daniel Janin whose stuff sounds a lot like David Axelrod's stuff. Imagine David Axelrod and Lou Rawls ... this is the flip of that in a sense - a jazzy female singer with a David Axelrodish producer.

  • This is why YouTube as a medium KILLS Itunes ... YouTube needs to add a few more features so you can podcast some of this stuff.

  • Nancy was a good friend of ours in Paris. Recorded together, played together, and even did a 4 week tour of Germany with her in 1970. A great lady and a great artist.

  • did you meet her at the american center when you were playing with higelin - before you bought those motorcycles and rode them 'round the rue du four?

  • Wow. That's some history!! Our piano player from college was in Paris studying with Nadia Boulanger and doing arrangements for Nancy. He called me in NY when she needed a sax player. We formed KH in Paris while I was working with her and we backed her on some shows and a tour in Germany. Shortly after that we moved to Orgeval, got the motorcycles and started promoting King Harvest seriously, and met Jacques Higelin. We recorded Dancing in the Moonlight in Paris in 1971.

  • @KingHarvestMusic i bet those were great times, wish i could have got in the studio with artist from that era!!!

  • @KingHarvestMusic

    me too

  • merci mister daniel janin !!!

I need soul i need it and i'm only 28 And i have a masterplan to Bomb all hip hop and r&b radio stations. And hire the "incrediblecHiller" to play tunes for the world baby -Yeah!!

  • You got any more of this chick? Please please please! I beg you.I'm addicted to her.

  • @mikeygeneral ,well said,true quality,not mass crap

  • @mikeygeneral She was a Jazz vocalist not an Soul vocalist so this range suit her style. Don't forget when Aretha Franklin first appeared on the scene she had a lot of critics who lambasted her for over singing.
